Good for you, getting a cart. Saves your wrists. You could line the cart with a big plastic bag for every venture. That way you can toss the liner and still have a fresh cart.

We have one of these carts at work and an extra long rubbermate storage bin fits perfectly in the bottom of it and prevents spills or damage to the bottom of the cart! God bless! 🙏🏻

I found out the material is actually waterproof, so I chucked a bit of washing up liquid in there with some water, and it actually cleans up really well!! :D

Chocks away ! You’ve mastered the new cart Chilli, without L plates ! You’ve got the canal path looking great and what a massive achievement all around. Watching the election political debates they just repeat the same old subjects over and over. Never once has the enormous litter problem country wide been mentioned as a major national problem. Do politicians travel round with their eyes shut I wonder. Mental health would be so much improved in pleasant litter free environments. Trash is so depressing so if everyone cared as much as you England could be restored to its former glory. Thank you Chilli for all you do 😇

Today my litter picker broke :-( The internal plastic part just broke under load. But I ordered on e-bay one that seems more durable with metal claws it is KBJ-101. I cant wait for delivery .

This was a great episode, because it started with a really beautiful looking part of the canal which in all likelihood only looks so beautiful because YOU clean it so regularly, but also because you then started work on an area that looked awful, and you made it look so, so much better. I know you haven't 'finished' it yet, so more to look forward to in later videos! P.S I love the cart!

His hoop looks pretty similar to my one, which is a Waterhaul 'ocean plastic recycled litter picking hoop', but I'd also be keen to hear from Chilli himself.

I honestly just bought the cheapest 'bag hoop' on Ebay years ago before I even started this KZbin series, so I have no idea what the brand is but, I'm sure the brand mentioned above this comment (Waterhaul) would be good! but yea, amazon or Ebay sell them just as 'trash bag hoop' or 'bin hoop'

So glad you purchased a wagon! The strain on your back and wrists over time takes a toll. You'll find your rhythm and the tools that work best. Maybe hanging a pocket on the side to hold a water bottle, your wire cutters, extra bungee cords in case one breaks, a wheel, antibacterial hand cleaner, etc? I understand the excitement! You are conquering another blight. 🏋‍♂️🦾

Good thing to use a ‘bolderkar’. Sometimes when doing litterpicking in a group I do use a foldable handtruck with spinners as well. Normally I do the same spot every week, there are a some bins in that area and also from the council I got pass to use the collective trashbins for flat inhabitants in our city.

@@chilli_pips Ah, ok - you're the expert! ;-) I do litter picking in a country with a deposit system for bottles and cans. My rubbish is different: mostly bottle caps, cigarette butts and candy wrappers. I work with much smaller bags and the stuff is much lighter.

Yo Chilli. A para-cord leash on the handle or side of the cart might be a lighter and more compact way of tethering the cart when on a slope. Love the videos.
