I love TCA peels. I do them on myself all the time. Mainly for anti-aging. I’m so blessed to be almost 40 and not have any major skin issues. I’ve been wearing SPF since I was a late teenager. It really makes a difference. If I ever have a child then I am going to make sure they start young. I’ve been wearing SPF everyday for over 20 years now. Even when I’m staying home.

@@BeccaP007 in their patented 15% Laa 1% Vit E and .5% ferulic, they claim stability with a DROPPER WAY beyond what’s valid in their clinicals. Numerous brands have been sued to protect L’Oréals bad patent( example: drunk elephant- whom makes you mix your own now🤣) to put it as clearly as I can Ferulic acid should lend a SMELL of 🌭 and at most a HINT of yellow. I have a Timeless airless pump LAA, E, ferulic in an airless pump that is better than Ceferulic even at 1year(it’s barely turning yellow) AIR is the real downfall and their dropper will ALWAYS turn this color, it’s actual converts to DHA( self tanner) thus people getting orange faces, in conclusion if I were @susanyara I’d have been pissed off that person applied that to my face. They paid her, so she’ll never say that it’s bad.

I tried micro-needling for the first time because of my dark spots but it made it worse. It was so concerning and frustrating. So after a month, I got a chemical peel done and the pigments are still there but I like it much better than the micro needling. I dont think micro needling is for everyone. Hi, by dark spots do you mean sun spots? Or do you have post acne spots? I have post acne spots so their pinkish spots and so I have been thinking of doing micro needling to get red of them at a clinic. However I heard that for people with darker skin color (aka me since I’m tan and Latina) it can make the spots worse. Could you let me know your thoughts on this please?
@soojenhan72
@soojenhan72 2 жыл бұрын
@@jenniferjimenez1286 I had post acne spots and they are not pink on my skin tone but more like brown. If you know and you are prone to hyperpigmentation- like for example, I knew I am because even with a mosquito bite, I get a dark spot that lasts years. Most people get a scar or a dark spot but usually they fade in weeks. Mine lasts months to years. So the bottom line is, every one's skin is different but if you know that you get hyperpigmentation easily and they usually don't go away easily, then you should re think about getting a micro needling. Mine was worse as in the pigments got darker and more noticeable after the treatment. So after a month, I got a chemical peel done to peel off the top layer which in hope will lighten the dark spots. It did help out a little but like what Susan said our skin is in layers and so I will need to get multiple treatments for big results. I am planning on getting another peel in a month or two. I also met with the dermatologist and got RX hydroquinone 4%, and it is helping the pigments get lighter. It is really helping. I love this cream. But also, you need to research before applying anything to your own skin because what works for me might not work for you.

Hi master esthetician here. The invocation of the body's healing response which does produce collagen and elastin in the skin. Also, with TCA, it can be inflammatory and Katia was right to take it easy with melasma. And also, if u have any underlying pigmented anamolies, they will darken as the outer-most layer of the skin starts to thin and the pigment start to rise to the surface. It's a multi-treatment peel.
@AG-nn8lp

But generally, tca is too strong and can cause inflammation and exacerbate melasma. Usually a series of lactic or gentle peels are more effective. A dr prescribed chemical peel that I did at home & dr prescribed sunscreen that looked like makeup in a tube. The best treatment I have ever done & is only required to do twice in a lifetime.
