The Dr.Dennis gross peel pads have made SUCH a huge difference in my skin. They used to sell a bundle of all 3 strengths, and I used that to work up to the extra strength ones. The almost immediate glow it gives, and the long term decongestion is out of this world.

Stay on the look out for the 50% off Exuviance sales at Ulta. I usually stock up on the pads then. About $40 per kit the last time I purchased.

I've been using the Paula's Choice AHA/BHA 10 minute weekly peel on my night off from tretinoin. It is very helpful for clearing up flaky skin from tretinoin. I find it improves my skin .

I watch this other derm channel and they also only recommend a peel once a week at most. Glad you pointed out that even if it says daily, it should only be used once a week.

Thank you so much for this video. I’m going to try the Dr. Dennis Gross universal daily peel as a at-home peel newbie, but first a trip to dermatologist before integrating this into my routine. Appreciate you

Thank you very much for your informative video; it immensely helped me. I was about to purchase a high-concentration peel from Amazon, and I realised after watching your video that I should be cautious. It is better to consult a dermatologist as I already have active acne, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and other issues. Although it is hard to find a good dermatologist, and I have already seen a dozen in two countries and never seen an improvement in my skin, I will try again.

I'm guessing that the Neutralizer minimizes any irritation, sorry for the stupid question but I had to ask.

Thank you for a very informative video! I plan on purchasing either the Dr Dennis Gross or AlphaRet. When you break it down per treatment, the Exuviance is actually more expensive than the other two because it comes with 13 pads versus 30. I've had a series of three Skin Medica Revitalize Peels and was very pleased with the results. I'd like to do a weekly at-home peel though! Thanks for your great content!

If you get flaky from retinol, should you use a peel to help get rid of the flakes? Or just moisturize until the flakiness is gone?

I am allergic to Retinol. It made my face blushish brown. Then my doctor prescribed me the hydroquinone. It made my skin even darker. Finally, I did the fraxel Laser. I only did one session and the doctor said no more. For over three days, my face was oozing clear liquid. It was literally dripping!! This fraxel made it worst! That was more than 12 years ago. Since then, I just apply mineral sunscreen. I have dark spot and acne scars. I am so afraid to try anything more.

I’m so sorry to hear that - that must’ve been traumatic to a degree for you. I’d be upset if my treatments made my problems worse. I hope your skin is doing much better all these years later.

Great video! Is it dangerous for someone with dry skin to use skin treatment that has more than 10% glycolic acid? I ask because I have dry & sensitive skin and interested in the Exuviance ones.

Thanks for this video, very helpful 🙂 Would you say that PHAs should also not be used daily, or would those be fine? I was thinking for example to use a PHA serum in the mornings, and then, once a week use an AHA product, like the peel pads, or a leave on product.

Do you feel aha and bha is good for acne prone one night a week instead of the retinoid?! It seems like I would have to take a lot of days off my retinoid before and after. Is it possible to just take one day break after the more mild universal peel or is it best to stick with retinoid for Acne prone

Thanks for this video it was super helpful. So if I wanted a peel for hyperpigmentation and maybe some congestion on my cheeks would I use the dr Dennis gross? Or exuviance? Would I need both?
