I Got A Custom Black Wedding Dress

Here comes part 3 of our 4-part wedding series! Now as you guys may know, I went shopping for my wedding dress a few moons ago - and we found a very wonderful white bat-sleeved dress. However, I've been teasing the idea here and there of doing a white swan/black swan moment and having a second black reception dress to change into for the party portion of the evening. So that is what we're going to be working on now!

That's right. I was married, widowed later, remarried later, and never was a traditional bride. At my first wedding, I was married in a lacey burgundy dress with a satin cummerbund and burgundy hat. For my second wedding, my dress was a custom lavender satin. It was a medieval style dress, with satin ribbon criss crossed down the bodice and white ribbon rosettes. The veil was a matching shade of lavender tulle, attached to a headband with flowers. Both of them were beautiful.

Coming back to rewatch vids while waiting for new ones has been fun tbh, really love Saf’s content. I got married twice to the same guy in the same year. We eloped to the courthouse. (thin wale white corduroy button front dress styled after the western theme that was popular in the late 80s) Then we got married n a tiny but adorable church on a Navy base that following December. (Full heavy silk satin, portrait neckline, fitted, princess seamed, full skirted ivory dress.) Still married. (29 years married is nothing to sneeze at for either of us.) Congrats on being 'Those People', it sounds like y'all had/have lots of fun.

The dress suits you so much!! I think that some embroidery on the waist area with more light beeds contrasting with the black fabric would really give the dress a final special touch, and it would reassemble stars and constellations even more!
