Rich, don’t care how great a modeler can be, (which they can) but that thing instantly sounds like heaven brother…

Hey those are great amps. My friend had a Dumble modded Bassman I tried years ago, it was pretty awesome, that was before they were multi-thousand dollar amps. Just ordered a Carr-Belrey, Steve Carr builds awesome amps

I wanted to make one of those heads from a Mojotone kit after I finish my 5F2-A & 5E3 builds . I’m putting both into tweed cab heads . 😊

Sounds great. I had one with dual JBL 15's when I was young. Saved forever to purchase it and then ended up selling it cause it was too hard to transport to gigs and then have to turn it down all the time. Treasure it!

I had a 65 Bassman with the big 212 cab, and with a Gib Melodymaker it was magic. It had the black witch hat knobs. I bought all new tubes and it sounded really nice.

The Normal channel is where you plug your accordion in. Remember, this amp was designed in the 50's when accordion was King. At least over there.

I played one of those in the late 70s...sold it to a bass player when I switched to a Roland JC 120 in the mid 80s ..wish I'd kept it. I think I got 150 bucks for it back in the day.

Saw my local luthier's band about 20 years ago in Wigan England and he was using a Bassman head and driving it with a BD-2 and it sounded fantastic.

Come on folks, to those of you not currently subscribed, hit the sub button and bell. If the sub count goes up, he might be able to buy the amp himself. 👍
