Alternating between night treatments including tretinoin (covered with oil to prevent as much moisture loss as possible), chemical exfoliation (AHA/BHA left for 30 min, and then covered with oil - but usually The Ordinary Alpha Lipoic Acid), and recovery / moisturising (calming / hydrating serums, moisturising night mask, covered in oil). Tretinoin and alpha lipoic acid are the best things that have happened to my skin in near a decade. And, in places with national health care, they're both very affordable. In Canada, tretinoin is around $28 CAD for 40 mL, but it lasts a long time. And alpha lipoic acid from The Ordinary is around $6 CAD. But I use ALA on most of my body, so I go through it pretty quickly. 😅

I drink lots of water and fruits, I use homemade scrubs such as coffee mixed with tumeric and greek yoghurt scrub, then at night I apply olive oil.

I just do simple stuff , somedays I apply homemade facemask. It could be anything like honey, yogurt, clay. At night I just use oils like coconut, sunflower mixed with essential oil. I have stopped using chemical stuff like creams, lotions. It's very harmful in long run.

There's no facial out there that would get rid of acne in one go... you would have to go multiple times to get acne treated. I doubt you would see much difference with just one so it would be pointless and everyone in the comments would be saying "Wow there's no difference what a useless facial bla bla bla"

@@brxlee_bear9726 proactive is the most overhyped, expensive acne product that actually doesn't work. Celebrities *cough* *cough* Kendal Jenner, make it seem like it's a magic potion that vanishes acnes like poof!! But it doesn't. I suggest people with acne go to a dermatologist and figure out the type of acne you have. That's step one.

y’all i’m so tired of pressed ppl saying how they didn’t show a person w acne or how she looks fine or this wouldn’t fix it acne. ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT. it’s supposed to make ur skin pretty and glowing and that “glass skin” effect it isn’t supposed to really fix large skin blemishes it’s just supposed to make u look dewy. also one facial isn’t going to remove all ur acne u need treatments and multiple facials probably so yeah that’s my rant

You legally have to state if it's sponsored and a big company like refinary 29 probably would adhere to the law even if smaller youtubers don't. I wouldn't be surprised if the spa place is associated with them. The last time I went to a spa there were multiple different facials that only used one brand (which I think is to stop reactions seeing as they have different formulas idk) so either the spa only uses that brand for one facial or they only use that brand 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know this is Old, but every one realizes that the camera is hiding a lot of their blemishes right? And just because you don’t see them here doesn’t mean they DON’T have them. I get them still, but some weeks are more healed that others. Facials helps a lot. I was getting them once a month before quarantine and I have horrible acne and acne scarring. I’ve used the knowledge they gave me, but I know I’m going to have to go back once this is all over. I totally recommend finding yourself a good esthetician to supplement with the Dermatologist. The both of them will help you with your skin needs (one medically, the other by helping you care for your skin).

what people don't realize about the glass-skin trend is that in asia it also includes have white, pale skin. that's why i don't like it, because I think you can be beautiful even if you don't have white and pale skin.

your hair is gorgeous, i've mainlined a few of your videos today, and you have a different beautiful color in each one, please tell how you achieve these colors?! i'm about 70% grey already, (naturally) and i recently went ash-blondish, but i've been very curious about doing something similar to your pastel colors, how do you do it? Do you go the salon?

Omg, that looks soo nice! I've never tried a rubber mask before... But after seeing how glowy your skin looked after she took it off, I'm going to try those Dr. Jart ones... They MUST be worth the money!

I want to go to Korea just to do their amazing skin procedures. They are so ahead of other first world countries when it comes to skin care.

green koko I’m betting you can find a similar facial in your local Koreatown. You might have to do some digging. I checked and found at least 10 places in/near LA. But you might live elsewhere.
