I want to hear the backstory behind how they formulate these rules every day. 🤔 I mean, they'd need to be a highly punctual & effective team of operatives, constantly observing the cemetery in search of predictable supernatural behavioural patterns. A team that analyzes those patterns and uses that data to forecast dangerous trigger events. A team that workshops a full set of evasive strategies then validate those strategies ready for practical field application. A team that uses their newly developed working theory to formulate and refine an easily digestable set of rules in time to brief the night shift every evening. I mean, that's got to be a brutal, high-risk, high-pressure R&D schedule. People are going to be stressed, the atmosphere going to be tense, but no one has time to panic or lose their cool. The fact that this team consistently delivers an ironclad set of rules on the daily suggests that this is one stone cold set of steely researchers running a fast efficient operation behind the scenes. ...who then proceed to hand off these rules to a couple of flash light weilding slackers, running on littlemore than caffeine and sarcastic oneliners each night. 🤔

So my only complaint about this writing was that some things felt forced and quick. Like when he said “he doesn’t deserve to die…. I mean I do but not him.” Like??? Okay where tf did that come from? A self pity party out of nowhere?? It made no sense. I knew (or at least hoped) he was about to explain that line but then the very next time they’re together he tells the story? They were on day like 2-4 and he was like “man I know we’ve dealt with this for decades but why don’t you quit..” like it’s been days… I guess the days are accelerated because they’re suspense filled? Idk it was just a line that I would’ve thought was meant for a seasoned veteran at a job with the way it was brought up. And it was so fast. Just instantly said it and then it was all over. Idk IT just felt weird. Then he was like “sorry I dumped all that on you I just thought you should know..” like the other guy wasn’t literally using a crowbar to pry the info out of him….. if he’s uncomfortable it’s his own fault for wanting to know all the business. Don’t ask if you’re not able to hear it. lol
