i got a mini dachshund puppy!!! + our first 48 hours together 🥹

He’s so cute! I so want another dachshund. I am glad to see he doesn’t bark like crazy too. I had a baby carrier so I could stick mine in it and do stuff. And zip tie one of those fold up baskets with a puppy pad in the bottom to your bar stool and then you can have him sit there while you cook. He’ll love it!

Times when he is being too much, put him in his crate while you need to get stuff done. He's a puppy, it's what they do. You can't yell at him for being a puppy, but a crate will let him know it's time to relax. Puppies are so much work.

i do!!! i just prefer to put him in his crate when he’s tired/has played lots beforehand. doesn’t feel right to me to put him in there when he’s full of energy 💕

we found an ethical breeder in charlotte, nc via facebook & did a bunch of facetime calls before placing a deposit on him/going to pick him up 🤍
