Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Warbird, I too am eyeing on the O.P.E.N. as Rides of Japan uses it. You earned a sub, I'll be on the look out for your future uploads.

I am going to one of these from a diverge. Hows the synchro shift working for you?
@bikepackinglight18294 жыл бұрын
I recommend the Bluetooth adapter for Di2 so you can be conscious of when the front derailleur is going to shift. It takes some getting used to, I dropped the chain a few times because you have to reduce your cadence a bit when the synchro triggers. I got a k edge chain catcher for piece of mind frame protection.

@@bikepackinglight1829 it's not by default bluetooth?
@bikepackinglight18294 жыл бұрын
@@mazerickd nope, Bluetooth is an upgrade, I thought that was kinda lame too. Didn't find out until after I got the bike and wasted a bunch of time trying to pair it. Costed $100 extra for the Bluetooth module, I would recommend buying it when you build up the bike so you can hide it inside the frame.

How does it ride on the pavement compared to your roubaix?
@bikepackinglight18294 жыл бұрын
Actually really comfortable. The extra kush that comes with wider tires is welcome. The roubaix is still slightly lighter, stiffer and twitchier, and feels faster on sprints.

@@bikepackinglight1829 That’s awesome! I am trying to decide between Warbird/warroad or Trek Domane. Getting back into drop bar riding after 5 years of mountain bike only. I want to go fast but like the idea of being out on less traveled roads away from traffic. Looking forward to more videos!
