I just got a new kayak and I'm loving it! Not only did I test it out, it turned out to be a wild adventure from landing many fish to bumping into a karen, a drowning pigeon and much more!

Great video mate... just noticed with your rod storage that you haven't tethered any of them... I've seen a few rods go overboard in comps and social fishing and a cheap springy tether with a carabiner clip which is quick to clip to your reels bail arm will definitely save a few $$$ in the event you miss the rod hole or the weather is a bit rough. Just subscribed and looking forward to your adventures 🤙🏽

Thanks Johnathon! I used to back in the day but now don’t bother unless heading out into the deep blue and I take the risk I guess haha. Out of all my time kayak fishing, luckily I haven’t lost any gear. Thanks for the sub. Won’t be disappointed 🤙

They do as well however when fishing 12m of water it’s quite quicker to use a plastic

I've found that the Nong hasn't recovered from last year's floods. None of the bigger fish have returned to the system.

Nice mate, I'm picking up a PA 14 myself this weekend, and have been looking for spots to launch along the nong. Did your mate have a trailer? Was there parking for it where you were?

Yes, definitely need a trailer for anything bigger than the outback! There is parking in most reserves and parks there
