I definitely recommend giving driving a try. It gives the pony exercise, mental stimulation and is a wonderful way to work with them. Careful though - ponies are like Doritos. It's hard to have just one.

New horses need to be isolated in quarantine before being introduced to a herd. Otherwise they could spread disease to the other horses. Biosecurity is very important!
