Those emeralds are super cool. Did it take along time to tame them?
@kaylaroachКүн бұрын
They’ve been this friendly since the day I got them! I didn’t tame them, that’s just their personality. So sweet!

I can only imagine I don’t have as many animals as you and I had change and sacrifice a few things. People wonder why I don’t have times to do things lol. It’s literally a life style.

its so stupid that americans get our lizards but there's a ban in Australia of American reptiles, I understand it, its just annoying 😭

6:37 why house the tarantula in a pot?That’s way too small. 7:53 The geckos should have some sort of substrate, no?
@kaylaroach8 күн бұрын
I see you took the critical approach to my video! Concerning the tarantula, I had just purchased it at an expo, and that’s the deli cup it was housed in from the shop. I have a video on my channel rehousing that exact tarantula into an appropriate enclosure. In regard to the gecko, there’s nothing wrong with using paper towel as a substrate for sterile, quarantine, or baby setups. The gecko was eventually upgraded to a larger enclosure with a soil-based substrate when I felt the time was right. Thanks for your concern, I appreciate you watching!

That was one of the best reptile room tours I've watched. The ball python with the sky and humid hide was my favourite. I hope you've settled into your new home. ❤

Tho that is not Crotalus simus, that is a Crotalus scutulatus salvini which is the Huamantlan rattlesnake.

The variety of animals at this show is incredible! 🤩 The dichromatic skinks were awesome. My favorite thing was seeing all the rat snakes, but the $12,000 (leucistic?) crested gecko was a surprise. I also liked seeing all those books! I’ve never seen a table of literature like that at the California shows and I would have loved to check it out. Hopefully can find some good deals online. And Adeline Robinson’s art is so beautifully detailed; as a snake lover, I love to see it. 🥰

aren't you supposed to dust your feeders so they don't get metabolic bone disease?
@kaylaroachАй бұрын
Yes, I do dust my feeders! But not every feeding. Excessive calcium supplementation can lead to hypercalcemia, which can be fatal. I rotate between dusting with calcium, multivitamins, or nothing at all!
