GOOD MORNING!! Well it finally happened! After three years of research and 7 months of searching for the "right"sloth, we finally have Drogo! What an adventure its been. I am so excited to be working with this dream animal and am looking forward to learning all the things that reading can't teach you. Each animal is an individual and each animal has so many unique qualities. I am sure for years to come I will learn all about Drogo! Its hard for me to even process that we have a SLOTH!!! It will be a month or six weeks before he will be on display because we are waiting for all the final inspections for permits for exhibit, but it won't be long! Hope you have enjoyed this journey and are as excited as I am! Now the fun begins! Have a wonderful day everyone and remember to follow your dreams! Are you serious? He had a little branch in Florida with a bunch of noisy monkeys disturbing his sleep. Now look at his enclosure with a small TREE to climb and hang on not to mention ropes to swing on. It’s a bright area with everything he needs. Lonely? Brian and the crew will be in there daily spending time with him on top of all the tours that come through. He’ll be living his best life at the Reptarium no doubt in my mind. I’m just wondering how long Brian will wait to ask Lori for a girlfriend Drogo. Def needs a Khaleesi at some point.

Please dont take this as hate, but I don't thinl you should have gotten the sloth. You took him from a nice place in florida to Michigan to be in a small room. I'm not agaisnt people ownimg exptic aniamls, I myself want a few when i have the recorses, but I just don't think drogo will be happy in his new form. I've seen sloth enclousers that are way bigger with reall trees and sunlight and all that. I know that Michigan is diffret but yeah that's just how i feel. Being a rainforest creature anyway they don’t necessarily see the sun unless their habitat is partially destroyed... he won’t need it he’ll be spoiled at the reptarium there’s everything it needs and you can tell how loved he is already... captive born sloths know the environment around them. 🤷‍♀️

Hi Brian, as of October 4th, I have been stuck on a couch not able to get around too frequently after falling off the ladder on my deer stand. Unfortunately I broke my back and both bones in my left leg and I had to have emergency surgery to fix it all. While being stuck on the couch I have caught up on all the videos I missed while I was busy working and taking care of my current animals and trying to finish up my bachelors degree. I just want to pop in a say that I have been watching you from the beginning and it’s amazing to see just how much you’ve accomplished, advanced, and grown over the years. ❤️ My family is actually from Michigan and I’m currently living in Wisconsin. I hope that once I heal up that I can travel and visit the repitarium if I’m able to money and covid pandemic restriction wise! 🤓❤️

I hate to poop on the party here, but this is a little too far... The amount of animals in Brian’s care concerns me. I understand that breeding is a hobby, and that it is enjoyable and in some cases very important to the survival of a species, but at the same time... this strikes me as animal hoarding. Now, ik people are gonna get pissed at me. Go ahead. But no one has racks upon racks upon racks of animals. Hundreds of different creatures shoved into confined spaces. And although the ones in the store front appear to be well cared for, the ones in the back are concerning. Shoved into very small and shallow bins, and bred in never ending cycles. Breeding is okay, but it shouldn’t be hoarding. Small breeders have to be the best. They know that to keep their clutches healthy that they should keep it small. You don’t need hundreds of animals to find enjoyment out of it. And now he has a whole sloth. That is an exotic animal. That is a wild animal. That animal is not domesticated. It belongs in the wild. Or the only other acceptable location, a zoo. Where there’s hundreds of staff to care for it instead of a singular group of people caring for it and all the other creatures there. I know multiple people that have bought from him, been falsely told information about their reptile when it wasn’t going well, and it died on the way to the vet. After trying to reach out and ask for a refund or any sort of guidance what so ever as to what could have happened, they are completely ignored. People, you have to stop calling this cute. You have to keep saying that you want a sloth, or any sort of exotic animal of any size. Because honestly, 75% of them end up dying lonely and sad. So either do your research and don’t hoard, or back the fuck up. Because this is wrong. Very. Wrong.

It kinda makes me sad to see a sloth in a cage that’s just being bought and transferred by people who want them in captivity. Or if they do have to be in captivity to protect them as a species, why should he be inside in a fairly small room? That just doesn’t seem natural or what’s best for the animal. I’ve been watching Brian for a long time but that just makes me uncomfortable to see.

I agree this is not right at all. Even if they were keeping if to “protect” it this wouldn’t be it. It would be in its natural home at a sort of nature reserve where they keep and care for them while also helping them reproduce. It would also be done with veterinary teams, biologists, caretakers: in other words professionals. This is a HUGE no from me. Just because you can keep certain animals doesn’t mean you should...ever.

Brian and Drogo, soulmates forever. I am so excited to see how he likes his little jungle! I realized watching him that he is always trying to see upside-down because that is the way they usually see the world. It looks funny when you are holding and carrying him and he holds his head back so he can see upside-down. Hilarious Lori at 12:03.
