As far as the prereqs are concerned, quizlet is your bestfriend. Its so much information at one time, what worked for me was drilling the information.

For me I don’t like the baby steps so I went straight for BSN. ADN would have been my back up plan. I say go straight to the ADN then the RN-BSN online.

Your prerequisites are not included in the program you have to complete your prerequisites before you can apply to get excepted into nursing school

Your video helped me learn more about UTA's nursing program, and I would just like to thank you for that :) I'm currently taking my last semester at my community college, and I'm thinking about transferring to UTA for the Spring 2024 semester. However, I'm a little confused as to how the entry to the nursing program works, and I would like to know if you could help me. So, by the end of this Fall semester, I will have almost all of my prerequisites completed except I still have to take the nursing preparatory courses plus the upper-division elective which are required to be taken at UTA, and I'm planning on taking those courses for the Spring 2024 semester at UTA. So, I'm confused as to when I'm eligible to apply for the nursing program, specifically, for UTA's BSN prelicensure program. Will I technically be eligible to apply for the Fall 2024 term since I will be in the process in the Spring (2024) of completing my last few prereqs at their school? Or will I have to wait to apply for the Spring 2025 term since I have not yet started nor completed those last few prereqs at their school?

Once you finish your prerequisites at community college just apply to UTA. The nursing advising team is awesome they will guide you the rest of the way! It’s a lot of things to do but they make it very easy for you!

Mine were Sat and Sun. They have clinical locations all around TX. They try to match you to the ones in or closest to your city.

Have your current jr college send your transcripts to UTA electronically. The process is the exact same for GED students. As long as your are excepted into the University you are good.

I should have went here. I’m at Concordia university texas and baby let me tell you I regret it. Going to class everyday is a joke not enough time to study. Plus I feel like they have made the program harder than ever. I know nursing school is hard but baybee it’s a joke here.
