One thing to keep in mind when you are putting in a used cam in an engine. Keep the lifters with the same lobes on the camshaft. When the engine is broken in the lifters create a unique surface on the lobe of the cam and switching different lifters with other lobes is guaranteed a cam failure.

Hey I enjoy your videos and I have subscribed. I have a 1975 F-150 with a 390 in it. I am getting ready to restore mine. It has been in the family since late 1974. It has only 120,000 original miles most of those on the freeway. In it's later years it was a farm truck. I have just started work on it and your videos are inspiring me to work faster, I have to pull the engine because the freeze plus are gone and the rear main seal is leaking. The only other issue is I might need another C6 tranny, if you have any contacts in Texas that might have one please let me know. Thanks!
