They did the same thing with Jungle Singed, River Shen etc. Riot has historically, consistently punished players for not playing like Riot wants. If you don't play exactly 1 top, 1 mid, 1 jungle, 2 bot - you're going to get banned. That's why they introduced plating, bounties etc. - It's to force players to play the way they want, because they can control that. But Baus plays like they intend, he just dies a lot which normally is an automatic ban. Just compare League of Legends with DOTA, and it's like watching checkers vs chess.

You know, listening to his explanation, I get where he is coming from. But my man is not considering morale. Do you feel like you are winning when your enemy is 3/1? No. Do you feel like you’re winning when your enemy is 1/4? Yeah. Does your team feel like it is winning with a negative K/DA? tbh the real issue in this game is the same issue i encounter in a lot of game and it's called shield.. everything in enemy team got shield zed and jayce with eclyps kai'sa with her R karma.. no coment.. ( fiddle doesn't have any for sure but his regen is anoying ) and this stupid game is giving shield to everyone nowaday changing healing support for shielding one (yummi) but there is still no fucking solution against shield and i wonder WHEN WILL THEY REALISE in team fight late game ur enemy team is almost powered by 3 to 5k hp coming from shield. not talking about the perma slow u suffer from karma and zed and jayce and fiddle result u're jsut a meat bag against unpuchable carry. it would be really nice if there some more option than just the serpent fang (absolutly not meta item) (and don't even talk about shadowflame this item is absolutly not and antishield item or even an antitank item) we have 6 item to counter healing with 6 different legendary antiheal stat that can be stacked and still no antishield item worth to buy.
