So with a couple exceptions (like that jump kick, short, short, jump kick combo-not something we did; and tick throws-not widely accepted in some regions and arcades), he seems like a typical top-level Ryu player that you would have faced in a 90s arcades tbh. His style is somewhat like mine was in some respects. At any rate, you rhetorically asked how to stop this guy, so I’m going to throw in a Gen-Xer tip sheet haha. #1 don’t jump in. We rarely jumped in unless we knew a fireball was coming because of the other guy’s patterns. #2 throw your fireballs in combination with crouching kicks, and use more jab fireballs to make it harder for him to go through. #3 vary your play style. I did see you do this to some degree near the halfway point, but he did also (so keep that up). I was at EVO this year on day 2. I wish I could have played you on an arcade machine lol. Nobody played me, though. There’s a different culture nowadays. Beating the CPU was lame lol

Hello Justin, i love your videos and i beg you to play Dual Souls The Last Bearer. Its a indie, turkish fighting game that you can play for less than 10 dollars on steam (or even for free on mobile). This game was made with love by a very small team, and they did an icredible work. Dual Souls plays a lot like third strike, the last blade, Guilty Gear and even Mortal Kombat. Here you have ex moves and two types of parrying: one that works exactly like sf3 and other that is kinda like reflectors from Akatsuki Blitzkampf. There is also burst and even yellow roman canceling. They even have fatalities for those who love violence. Also have a insane combo variety that makes you think a bit more than usual but really pays of. Also the plot is simple, but really takes itself serious. You can really see the Turkey influence on its aesthetic, plot and characters (especially with Efe, Nagashapa and André). In the end, Dual Souls its a fun game for everyone and one of the best of the decade, much more worth your money than SF6, Tekken 8 or MK1.

Don't feel bad ^-^ I'm 44, so I can tell, lol You gave him plenty of occasions to get hit easily. Use Hadoken mostly during or after a combo, then mid low kick to avoid any incoming Tatsu, And use more Tatsus when you make the opponent use a fireball attack. For the rest, you are good, he just has a better chain combo experience. You can learn a lot from this man. Never give up Champ!
