The best part about sky is that there's a lot of instances you can join and you are unlikely to end up with the same players again. That way you can practice in golden wasteland in peace.

Yeah, I like to help guide others through wasteland areas too and I've unfortunately met a couple people like this. The weirdest couple of bullies were some massively entitled randos that came into my server while I was playing with a krill, and they literally kept spamming the "tsk tsk" and "facepalm" expressions at me OVER PLAYING WITH A DAMN KRILL. They were also krill players so idk wtf their problem was other than they were clearly entitled little shits who wanted to hog the crab field krill all to themselves. Even though i was literally there first before them for like an hour. 👀🙄

The only toxicity I’ve personally seen are the arguments about TGC’s decisions on the game and prices, and very occasionally the arrogant players. I have seen ships but they’re not usually on the forefront of the fandom’s attention. As for nsfw… you would have to be actively looking for it to find it and while I like nsfw, just not with this game. It feels uncomfortable even thinking of the idea. In the most part, the fandom is pretty accepting and chill. There’s always someone in the server willing to Uber when they can, posting adorable art, and sharing funny glitches.

Ive seen this a lot lately in wasteland. Best option is to leave the zone whether going home or to another zone. They were obviously krill bating you knowing you dont have a ton of wings. Best option for practice is practice room in the music shop or an oob. I do wish they would have a way to report players unlit as well as a way to turn off fireworks flare, its not only blinding but used in this case to promote harm.

Recommendation in forcing a server split that I do when I'm 'reloading' servers cause the merge isn't happening: Try to airplane mode your device for a few seconds until the wifi or notification that sky needs wifi to show up. That should cut them off. It's infuriating to see players like these in our community :/

Why didn't we practice "stranger danger" rule no more? We should practice this even in the Internet. Do not get close to anyone who gave you the bad vibe. One bad word outta them and start cutting them off of your network, no good thing coming from them. Invitations? Surely some kinder players out there would invite you to join a better group of people. So do not ever feel missed out by not joining a group where AH belongs. They will boast about their group of course, but what good comes from that if it has no value for you? Skip to the next one! They owe you nothing *and you owe them nothing* so you shouldn't even waste your time giving them your attention. Room/server is like a roulette. Once you feel like you hit the jackpot, *only then you connect with them.* if not, it's just like walking down the street; enjoy it then move on.

Just look at all the games with the most toxic fans - almost all of them are PC based or have been made available to PC gamers. Sure, there are a few places in the game where trolling/griefing is possible, but honestly, this video is the only time I've seen it happen. As a veteran myself I find this behavior disgusting. If you want to get rid of people like this and if you are on mobile, put your phone into airplane mode. It temporarily disconnects you from the server. When you turn it back on, it will place you in a new server, without having to go anywhere 👍🏻. Best of wishes to you!~Rune

Had some similar examples with doors. People would just stand there, laugh and follow me everywhere instead of helping , also sometimes received some rude jokes and words while chatting with people before I just completely stopped socializing in the game. It's sad to see that even in a really peaceful and nice game that sky is. People yet still manages to ruin it I hope this will not occur to you anymore, I can also recommend you to go to calmer or emptier places to practice your music. There's also the music hall in Valley if you completed the season of performance quests to make sure you have nobody around ^^

And for the words it mostly occurred at prairie or wasteland But I gotta admit in those 4 years of playing sky, these things happened pretty rarely. But those people are still around in sky and can still bully the others.. Invest on the chibi mask and use the cautious spirit stance. Stand on the edge of any elevation. Hold your character (press R1 if you use switch) and step forward. When you see your chara's feet kind of went through the surface, release the hold while keep moving towards the direction. Try this as many times as possible, it takes luck to succeed, but once it works you'll be moving through the empty space, this allows you to bypass the locked door and enable you to enter without opening the door. Remember, the elevation I mentioned meaning the ground surface is slanted instead of flat. So look for small hills nearby the door. For prairie's 2p doors, you can use the curved ground above the door, once activated it will allow you to drop inside the room. To exit, just walk around in front of the door, it will recognise your presence and open up for you. Not working for 4-5p locked door though, so you have to do the same thing to exit. This is exactly why chibi mask is so popular. So far it's the only mask with super power 😆😆😆

some tip from me: 1. leave asap when someone is bothering you, quit the game for a few minutes while you control yourself then go back, you will mostlikely never met those ppl again 2. to practice a music, on the audio setting turn off ALL other noises except music itself it'll avoid all other noises to interrupting your practice 3. choose a safer area without krills to practice, daylight prairie is nice, but if it has to be that map then go far back before the temple so the krills wont be summoned 4. I hope you dont feel discouraged, almost all sky players are nice, feel sorry you happened to meet the bad one all the luck!

But I don't think practicing to play an instrument in GW was a wise decision either, especially in the battlefield since anyone can open the door at anytime, and that place is infested with krills. You can practice in the village of dreams, there's a special place there where you can practice by yourself and no one will bother you ever again. so i was back from my 2 years hiatus, and because of that long hiatus i forgot all my login details, so i hd to make a new account, when i was in the graveyard, i found some players, i thought they were nice and wanted to help me like all players that i met in 2020, but nope they were awful, they held me and brought me straight to krills, at first i thought it was unintentionally but it happened several time, i lost few lights, it was before they add map shrine, so you all know how annoying it is to find few winged lights that appear randomly right. i was very sad at that time and it made me miss all my sky friends from 2020, cause they were incredibly kind, but because i lost my first account i dont know to contact them ouside of sky, so now i prefer flying solo, even though i add some players on my constellationi rarely flying together with them

they are an asshole but you are letting them get to u. You could maybe go inside the temple to play there if you need this map specific notes. its really easy to avoid all this nonsense and ignore the bullies, just stop flapping around, restart the map so that there are no krill, get to some hidden place, turn out ambient sounds so that any honking wont reach u and thats it, u can play without interruptions. The more we give bullies attention, the more they get what they crave.

If you are bullied with a krill, you must learn how to avoid them effectively. If you want you can friend me and I will teach you! 3. If a krill is about to hit you, exit the game (don't close it), that will make you invulnerable while you are out of the game. Enter again when you think the krill has already hit you. 4. If the krill hits you leave the game and close it immediately, the game will think you didn't lose any wings, and when you log in again you won't have lost any wings I hope it has been very helpful to you! -San

I'm sorry that you've through that. A small tip if you want to practice alone. Go to the music hall connected in Dreams Village. There's usually a room there you can practice and not get disturb. If you ever want to go back to GW (golden wasteland) and practice, just stay in the first map or you can stay in Ark. Oh and staying at the last map of GW is a death trap for new players or even months old players, as well as in graveyard. I loved getting my wl (wing lights) destroyed in those areas. OH, and probably the reason of them being mean to you like that is because they don't have to lose anything cuz they finished the game already. But that's really no excuse to bring a krill to do that to you. They know how to make someone panic.

I’m a chibi main, and I saw this happen once to another person but the bully was a chibi. Knowing how to do the chibi trick I lured the krill to the bully and chibi glitched through the objects next to us as soon as the krill was about to attack. I also helped the person that got bullied and realized they hadn’t had much winged light anyway, so since I was planning to go on a wlr anyway I brought them with me. Its been a year since then and now we are best friends who do everything together ❤️

I got bullied in sky too a few days ago. I wanted to do this puzzle where you need 7 people holding butterflies. Me and 4 people were waiting for someone when 3 skykids appeared. They were enough for the puzzle, but when we asked for help this kids started emoting at us, showing that they won’t help. Well, it’s okay, I got it. But what made me mad when they began running around us and laughing at us. They were just chilling next to us, not helping, laughing and emoting.

Had something similar happen. I was in the area right before this one. Some guy was purposely trying to lead krill to me, at first I thought it was an accident but he kept following me around and doing the laugh emote whenever I was put in a bad position. I was just trying to gather the winged light in that area. Luckily I love to krill dodge so I was able to avoid it pretty easily, I didn’t lose anything, but whoever is out here doing this to other players needs to just stop and think about what they’re doing with their life.

Messing with krills is only fun when you do it on yourself :< It could mildly work as a prank on vets before, but with the crawling update you really have yo make sure the player is okay with it. And when a person is playing an instrument people should just leave them alone... :< Ugh these people suck

For future ref, you can always just turn off wifi until you ge the yellow wifi symbol in the bottom and turn it back on if people are bothering/bullying you. It won't crash the game but it WILL force a server split and sometimes get you to an empty server.

In the future, return Home, and thereafter return to the area, so you'll have a new instance. If possible, you can also block/hide them. And after knowing this, it's probably best not to practice in areas with krill. They're inherently dangerous & hostile areas by design. Even the Ark or Wasteland's temple zone have plenty of empty space with no threat of krill.

Something similar happened to me a few days ago. I lost some winged light and I was trapped with no light left to fly away, and no light source either. I called multiple times for help and when somebody finally came, they saw me, they laughed, and they left me there. Fun stuff

I am so sorry, some veteran players do that to new players and its quite sad. I was blessed that the veterans i ran into in Wasteland helped me instead of getting me krilled! If your ever in a situation like that again immediately go home, if you want to go back to wasteland then wait a few minutes for the server to split but i recommend oob areas or very deserted areas, thats were i practiced music. As a veteran now i try to help other's but it only takes a few people to ruin the games reputation and make it hard to trust other players. I hope you run into some better player's next time!

But in case that thing happened again, i suggest you fly away to a safer area when they're not looking, go home and come back again after some time, the server will likely to reset. First of all I wanna say that as a sky musician I think your music playing is 10/10, absolutely wonderful and I can see amazing potential for even greater things!!!. And secondly as professional Krill Hunter I am very disappointed in such irresponsible behavior by those bullies. Not everyone is afraid of krills but that doesn’t mean they should send krills after people who are. I have a friend who won’t enter wasteland without someone else with them (that usually ends up being me since I’m at home in wasteland hahaha(not that I mind)) so seeing this kind of behavior from my fellow children of light is extremely saddening, because as much as things like this seem small, small actions, good or bad really do create big ripples, and as such I think people should take their own actions more seriously or at least think about them more. I hope you can see more kind skykids and less bullies in your future days 💛

People were really mean when I was a moth this year (I started playing in January) and only treated me better when I didn’t look like a moth. I never honked much & did my best to help/ask for help in a non annoying way. It’s really sad the state of Sky now. I wish I had begun earlier so I could avoid this. I do my best now to protect moths and other players from bullies too. 😢

If you wanted to practice in peace, Wasteland was a poor choice. Go somewhere you can't get hurt. I'm a veteran and I've had players try this shit with me but they didn’t try long. I was bullied in school so I get how it feels. But I was not a victim to take the abuse! I wanna point that out. I got into a ton of fights defending myself, but never any trouble since I never started any of the fights.
