Have you ever got caught up in bidding on an auction or hunting for games another way? Other collectibles?

That's why I set a limit and just walk away if that gets hit. Can be hard to do when it goes over by a little bit and you really want it, though.

Sometimes I do that as well. If it is something that I have more interest in I'll watch it to try and get it for as little as possible. This go round I got caught up in it.

Yeah, this wouldn't have broke the bank but I didn't need to spend that kind of money. Thankfully, I didn't end up spending anything lol.

My first ebay purchase i was so excited about the bidding that i upped my bid to $25.00. I did not hit the . My bid was $2500.00!! Luckily eBay auto increases so you're just above the previous highest bid and I ended up only paying $50. It was a very stressful 10 minutes.

Yeah, that would be a clencher. I almost had an extra zero in a couple of the bids I made. Thankfully, I noticed and was able to delete it before submitting the bid.

Owaz! Funny enough, I once had a copy of The Ninja. I know it's not super valuable or anything, but I remember picking it up after getting a chuckle from the fact that the main character's name was Wang... I was really immature back then. 😂 Heck, I still kind of am.

It's a fun game. There is an SG-1000 game called Dragon Wang. Who doesn't laugh at the occasional fart noise? lol

I know the bidding war thing may get out of hand. A lot of times I'll have to catch myself and then hope the other person outbids me so i can just walk away from the auction.

I had my max price and I still got caught up because I wanted those 4 titles. I'm really glad I woke up when I did.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet there mate. I think with all being in those situations where you can't seem to stop yourself. I tend to find putting in a ceiling bid and leaving it alone works well. There will always be other bargains in the future. PS I think I know the auction you are on about as well as I spotted it too. 😂

yup, I have to remember to be patient and try not to get swept up. It was a good lot. I was hoping it would go for a lot less. lol
