You're certainly better now than when I first saw your channel. I really look forward to the day someone on youtube gets fit at a proshop which doesn't have such extreme brand bias and makes a bag with a variety of clubs from different manufactures. I don't understand why only the 7i is tested, there will be a point as you go to longer clubs where they no longer go any further. I look forward to see you get an official handicap, that should be an interesting series of videos.

Amazing golf journey to watch …. When I first watched you on Rick Shiels a while back, you could barely hit a ball. Now smoking 7 irons 160 with a very easy on the eye swing. Congratulations!

Great video. I watch a lot of mens training, fitting videos, and they always rave on the GI irons. To hear you say that less forgiving irons make you learn to hit better shots, was a treat. I like to say, a club with more feedback will teach you both, subconsciously and consciously to hit the middle of the face. Very important if you want to become a better ball striker. When you sent back the 105 shafts because they felt too heavy, it reminded me of when I first started playing cavity backs with Nippon Pro 120's. Hated these clubs. They felt heavy and the feel was horrible. But that was because I was not hitting them in the sweet spot. The heavier clubs are my gym. It took no time at all until they felt at home. There is a huge benefit to them too. They have higher torque rating. They don't twist as much as lighter shafts. That means misses are not as bad. Example: You toe one a little. The head will twist open on a towed hit. The firmer (higher torque rated) shaft will twist less. Lets say your toe with a 95g shaft that was otherwise on plane, puts the ball 10 yards right and 5 yard short of where it would have been, the better shaft will cut those losses in half. Not to mention you will know you were on plane and just toed it a little. With a GI iron you will think you nutted it and swing was off a little. Torque is important for consistency. You hating them, like I did, shows how much off you are. I almost returned mine. But after recently learning the importance of feedback, I hung with them for a week or two. They taught me how to hit the middle by showing me with the feel, feedback if I was off even a little to the toe or heel, thin or thick. They taught me to learn how to feel the feedback. In my case I was standing ever so slightly too far from the ball and slightly toeing every shot. With the GI irons they felt nutted. You have a great swing with plenty of power to hit 105's. The extra weight will make you stronger and they wont feel heavy for very long. If you play a lot, 2 weeks tops. After you get through it, you will hate the 95g shafts and when you hit them, you will feel how flimsy weak they are and immediately know how they exaggerate miss hits and make them worse. As you move up to more players like irons you will get better. But you won't get good until you are hitting CB's and stick with them. It will hurt at first and for quite a while. Especially on cold mornings. : ) Like gyming, you won't get fit and trim unless you stick with it. If you don't play a lot, stick with the lighter more forgiving clubs. If you want to work this game and get good, get some CB's with 105g shafts. I did what you are doing and wish someone told me this a long time ago.

Congratulations on the new irons 😊, I believe I started with the stealth irons same time you did and 3 weeks ago got into the p790s and love them,,I went with kbs tour flt shafts 2 degrees upright but may need to drop to 1!

Nice video but not sure I understand the fitter. I have solid 7-iron swing speed of 85 mph and play the Recoil 460 regular shaft which I think is somewhere in the high 60:s in weight. It plays stiffer than the flex so with Mias swing speed I would never go with stiff flex for the Recoil.

Wish you would've tried the TP5 balls. Not sure why he didn't want to just try them to see the numbers since you're there anyway. Most better players prefer a softer ball. Swing's looking solid Mia.
