EDIT: REMAPPING KEYS ON RETROARCH so I don't get more comments about this, during my time playing the Tom and Jerry Tales set, I looked everywhere on RetroArch and I just couldn't find the option to remap keyboard keys, didn't find anything online either so I just assumed you couldn't. AFTER 3 MONTHS IN THE MAKING, THE VIDEO IS FINALLY OUT! Thank you so much for your patience, this took way too long, this video was supposed to be out in December. And also, the White Points/RetroPoints are a little bit off than what I mentioned in the video is because, from what I think, they change based on how many people get the achievement. More people = less white points. I think so because the explanation is so convoluted and I don't get it. So, apologies for that.

I KNOW RIGHT? It's actually impressive on what they did. The game did come out in 1991 (or 1992 I actually can't remember), so they probably did have more time to get accustomed to the NES, but still, shit's impressive.

oh yeah, I am aware. from what I recall it was even in the old Tom and Jerry show, from that episode where Tom ordered like a book on how to catch mice. it's just that when you get it in the game it says like "Robot AI Girlfriend" or something similar to that and I found it pretty funny. ESPECIALLY because it's next to Jerry's bed.

_Description of how points work_ Not exactly... The blue points are what you earn regardless of Hardcore or Softcore, and are set in stone. The _white_ points, also known as Retropoints, are a _variable_ amount that takes the blue points for a cheev, then multiplies it based on how many of the people who've played the set have not earned it (minimum value of 1:1). You are indeed correct that this only happens if you're in Hardcore, but it's not _just_ a Hardcore flex... it's also a neat way to see how difficult a set overall is (a game with much more Retropoints than normal ones involves a lot of dropped players after all...).

Funny story actually: for the longest time I thought the white points/retro points were the hardcore points themselves. It wasn't until I started looking at the newly released sets when I realized that they all have a 1:1 ratio/value, and then it gets higher the more people play the set. And I was halfway done with editing the video, so when I realized that I quickly read how the white points work and tried to explain it, even though I didn't understand it fully myself. But thank you so much for the explanation tho! I'll make sure to get things fully correct in future videos.

Nestopia isn't a supported core for RA. Some achievements unlock, some don't. Use it only on your own risk. Stick to Mesen or FCEUmm going forward.
