to your point of remakes not being eligible for game of the year: the ff7 remakes are NOT remasters or remakes. they are sequels to the original ff7. the story is basically the sephiroth in remake and rebirth knows what happened in the original and is trying to change things to win, hence it being a sequel. cloud also has flashbacks to scenes that happen in the original

Anyone doing gold and opal, I started doing this strat when I had half the weapons opal, so I’d be on directed round 11 on top of the bank, I’d have the weapon id being getting gold and the second weapon id be getting opal, when I was doing this every 1 gun id get gold on id get 2 guns opal, it might not be the fastest method but I had fun doing it so you might too, so ye give it a good see what you think
