so basicly the giant damage is the damage it should have done while the spawn animation is starting so the boss basicly recives the damge he is supposed to get while the animation is going, easier. all the damage that is supposed to be done to the boss, or even easier boss recives all the damage after the animation (yes I did it to waste your time)
