Great ear! I had to because this song is actually microtonal! Quite a few cents sharp of C# major. So I chose to play in C# because it felt closer than D 🤝🏼

I’m actually from Africa but my dad was a musician in a band but never taught me to play. He said if you want to learn you’ll learn by yourself. So I did. But it’s guys like you that inspire me to keep on. Keyboard sitting in a corner because it’s easier to play drums and guitar. But please don’t ever stop. You give simple guys like me an opportunity to realise we can only get better if we play or listen to other musicians. People ask. But they don’t understand we never stop learning it’s something that is unexplainable. Basically school don’t end for musicians. We can carry degrees but we not professional yet.
