Today's video is one that I never expected to be making for the channel! A few weeks back I was invited out by the White House for the unveiling of the holiday decor for 2023. I genuinely thought the email was spam and after a few emails back and forth, I quickly realized it was the REAL White House! I only got to spend an hour inside so I tried to capture as much of the decor, furnishing and finished to share here on the channel with all of you :)

I live in a small town in Oklahoma and one of my special friends was invited to decorate a tree. She was an avid crafter and I believe she was nominated by one of her sons!She did go to the White House and had the time of her life.

My mother was born in a very small town in Oklahoma, and when my grandparents were still alive, we would travel there from our home in Northern Virginia (my dad worked for the U.S. Department of the Interior) back to that little Oklahoma town for Christmas. Wonderful memories. I wish I could go back and live it all over again.
