For some of you who think it’s the return flight, a human brain can easily think that if I am going to over stay in Mexico or cross over to USA illegally, I can cancel my return ticket too. No big deal. The intent of a tourist can not be judged based on a mere return ticket. I have been travelling for the last 6 years and without a single overstay. That speaks volumes about my intent and the immigration officer can easily see that on my passport.

For suggestion: always book return ticket for any country. Even you were able to get entries most of time. Once they decided to deport they wont take it back even booking return ticket on the spot. Especially on Indian passport. If officer has doubt, even little they will have all the right to go against you.

Just for you to know i myself as an Mex immigrants it's hard to set up the limits to any country, if we travel to where ever country if we don't have a return ticket YESsss we will raise a immigrants FLAG to the borders it doesn't matter what country I had been in isa and now Citizen of Canada and the problem persist in any country I visit Spain Italy Even mex as a canadian BEEN A MEXICAN . It's not personal, just a flag we ourselves raise. You should have at least 2 days of hotel booking cause you may not like the place you landed so it's OK for several countries in that case. But with not hotel booking or return tickets it doesn't matter where I land on Germany, Italy Spain MEXICAN, C, etc. etc. FOR SURE I SHOULD EXPECT TO HAVE TROUBLE WITH THEIR INMIGRATION OFFICERS. I have been to Mexico last year . Yes officers/security both male and female are rude but all went fine for me. Kbhi kbhi “ I don’t know” does the trick and “I know it all” ruins it. Rejections are only meant to fix the vision towards life, people and oneself. Intentions kitni bhi clean kyun na ho duniya dikhawa hi dekhti hai or smjhti hai. Ek br gentleman look mein bhi try krke dekhna mexico / US visa ke liye. Things might differ either for you or for the world.

@ yes, (apart from the travel history and documentation) probability is high with a non-casual dress up and a soft attitude in such situations where each person is getting limited time for the interaction (Basic human psychology).
