I got LOST in Canada and Mistakes were made - My Norwegian Encore Alaskan Cruise Honest Review!!

(Part Seven) In today's video it's our final day aboard the Norwegian Encore, just when I thought this cruise couldn’t get any better it sure did! First, I take you around the ship for a fun bar crawl to some of my favorite lounges that are offered. Next, it's time to get off of the ship in Victoria, BC where we have poutine, drink, shop, see a few weird things and party a little which lead us to being lost in Canada! Oh and we got to see the Aurora Northern Lights once again. Finally, after making it back home I share my full review of this Alaskan cruise on NCL. So a good way to see Victoria ahead of time is to take the Victoria Clipper out of Seattle for a day or overnighter and then back to Seattle for your cruise. The Victoria Clipper is just a block or two away from Pier 66 - makes for a good day trip to the Island. We live near Seattle and occasionally do these day trips over to Victoria and take in the famous Butchart Gardens and the city. Enjoyed your review - we're about to sail our third cruise to Alaska, this time on the Encore last full week of August 24.

I live in Victoria and its always so interesting to me to see it from a tourists perspective in vlogs. I work downtown so it doesn't carry the same feeling for me as it does a tourist but i enjoy seeing it the way other people do. I've lived on the island most of my life and have never tried the whale watching. I will have to give it a try at some point.

When in Victoria go to Butchart Gardens. It is stunning, especially at night when lit, although daytime is also great. The rainforests in the area are also life changing.

I hope we'll hear your opinion on the changes with das at disney. Really value you're always honest and for so many with disabilities these new changes feel discriminatory. Things like diabetes, bowel disease, MS, and mobility issues are now not considered a disability for das

Save the notes with the Queen's portrait on them if you can! They'll be a collector's item in a few years! I lived in Thailand while they were introducing the new notes following the current king's coronation so I've got a mix of both!

If you book your Caribbean cruise out of Miami, the NCL terminal works like clockwork. Also, the Premium Plus drink package is WELL worth it. Once you book you will get an offer to upgrade to Free at Sea Plus which gives you the upgraded drink package, extra excursion credits, unlimited WiFi and extra specialtydining. Well worth it - especially of you were already planning on the unlimited wifi.

Thank you for sharing your Alaska Cruise experience, it was so much fun watching. My wife & I did an Alaska Cruise back in 2019 to celebrate Alaska being our 50th state that we have visited. I do recommend trying the 10 day cruise that includes staying at Norwegians Resort in Fairbanks for 2 days & then hoping on a train ride to Denali & staying there for 1 night before continuing onto Whittier, which is where you will board your cruise ship. Definitely was a neat experience. And yes, you are correct about the food being better on NCL than other cruise lines. Thanks again & Take care

I love your cruise vlogs, i saw both Alaska series where you say you love Canada ❤😊, but both times you started from Seattle, your next Alaska cruise could start im Vancouver, like maybe the Disney Wonder - you'd combine Disney and Cruise 😂 - that way you could spend a couple days before or after your cruise in Vancouver and visit for more than just a few hours 😉, just a suggestion 😁. The sugarcane mojito bar is the best. The pineapple coconut mojito was 🔥. I agree about Victoria. I loved it! Was lucky to have a full day there 9a-9p. I booked a half day whale watching tour at the Prince of Whales. Highly recommend. I definitely plan to visit Victoria again. And yes to all of the food on the Encore. I ate so well .

Had the pleasure of trying out NCL for the very first time in March, When the encore was in Miami. The embarkation was so easy. The food was fantastic. Honestly, the best food that i had on a cruise so far.

I’ve been going through some medical stuff and am finally on the mend. Luckily just in time to hop on a Celebrity cruise this Sunday from Bayonne NJ to Bermuda, which is the perfect cruise for us right now. It’s a 7 night cruise and we stay in Bermuda for 3 days, no time constraints so we can take out time if we need to. My energy level is still building. From Oct to March NCL cruises out of New Orleans. This year it will be the Getaway. Cruising out of New Orleans is very easy. Cruising down the Mississippi River on the way to the gulf is amazing. Plus they have coffee makers in the cabins

Come to Seattle at least two days before your cruise and take the Victoria Clipper to Victoria. You eould be able to stay a good bit of the day.

I haven't been so sure about an Alaskan cruise but you guys made it look fun. We were on the Encore to the Caribbean in February and loved it. The only problem was the weather which was kind of rainy. I was trying to go before spring break but the next time I think we'll shoot for after spring break. Have fun on your upcoming cruise!

You’re very lucky that you got to see Victoria during the day because we went on the same cruise as you and this was in July and when we went, our trip was not very eventful. We had a pick up our luggage in Juneau. It rained in Skagway we only got to see the lumberjack show in Ketchikan and Victoria was closed down.

Awesome video! I did an Alaska cruising princess last year. Loved the cruise but not overwhelmed with the found. Would be very interested in a PC dev Alaska cruise. It was chaotic in embarkation day and I think many disregarded the time they selected so it could have been similar with your experience.

My wife and I are planning an Alaskan NCL cruise next year and just wanted to ask you what made you uncomfortable as you walked towards Chinatown in Victoria?

As someone who lives in Victoria I can tell you that there are a few streets in that area that feel a bit sketchy in terms of a lot of street activity including drug use and rowdy behavior. Its best to avoid it in the evenings if you can. It really depends on which ways you walk there to be honest.
