my partner and I have been long-distance for 2 years now and still going strong, I feel that the long-distance tests your patience, trust and love for each other, my partner and I are still pretty young so we can't afford marriage right now but we are saving up to move in together. I find with the long-distance relationship we fell in love with each other's personality and souls instead of looks and bodies which of course he's still cute as hell but I fell in love with him for him not for his body or looks. we do see each other in person once or twice a year and it does get hard missing each other but personally, I would wait till the end of time for him because he's the first person to treat me like a person and not a s*x toy.
