I loved the disco era. As a female, when they played songs like this at the nightclubs you could just go out on the floor with your girlfriends and dance. You didn't have to wait for a guy to ask you to dance. It was awesome!

That's their baby brother Andy who died young. He had his own singing career but was going to join his brothers the year he died. Barry was burned with hot water on his chest but it never stopped him from letting us ogle him. Twin brothers Robin and Maurice have both passed away now. That documentary is fantastic. These guys were good and decent men.

You could go to the disco without a date and just get on the dance floor and boogey down/dance by yourself, that is another reason why most of us were slender, it was a workout, but fun fun fun, no gang-banging stuff!

New subscriber here. LOVE your channel, Bro! I ESPECIALLY love that you like The Bee Gees. In my opinion, they may have been the greatest group of the 20th century. They wrote all their own music. They also wrote major hits for many, many other artists. They recorded for over 40 years together. THAT'S amazing! I hope you'll check out their song 'Alone.' The video for that song has a lot of footage of the 3 of them when they were children. It's great stuff! LOVE your reactions!

The shots from this video are either from Saturday Night Fever Movie, or their Spirits Having Flown Tour. It was a 4 month tour which began summer of 1979, not long after releasing album of same name & Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in 1977. It would become their most successful & lavish tour, leasing a custom Boeing 720 painted red & black with their emblem on sides & tail. They took all their families with them (including the bands, etc!), & used 6 semi trucks to move their equipment from city to city. Barry & his wife Linda (of 51 years now!) said in an interview in 2017 that this was the most “magical time” in their lives😌!!

Andy Gibb also had a love affair with Victoria Principal who was several years older than him. She was very beautiful and was an actor in a evening soap called Dallas. Before your time. I was gonna say if you wanted to catch the clothing style and dance moves from back in the day from this song on Soul Train, it's on KZbin. I used to love to watch Soul Train! The young 18 year old was their baby brother, Andy Gibb, whom sadly passed away aged 30. He had his own successful singing career. This is from the most popular soundtrack and movie, Saturday Night Fever. The Gibb brothers were asked to provide songs for the movie. They already had about 5 songs lined up before the movie but hadn't released them yet. What a coincidence huh? The guy dancing and lead actor is none other than John Travolta...yes John!

The BeeGees little brother Andy Gibb sang on this song but was a star himself as a solo career. Sadly the two brother not the lead singer have passed RIP and Andy passed back back in the 80's from a drug overdose which the 3 older brothers never got over. I was a professional dancer as a kid back in the 70's and would win dance club dance off's to this song same dance as your watching in clubs that looked just like this.
