Good to see you back to yourself. Love watching your tutorials. I live in a one bedroom apartment and it’s hard to find a place to paint except in middle of living/dining area. Not pleasant for having visitors but I’m pretty much alone except for my KZbin friends like you. 😻

Such amazing energy, honesty, and transparency in your video! Very inspiring! I love this and definitely needed to hear your message! Thank you for sharing! I needed the reminders about the creative spirit and how truly powerful it is! I have had to endure a comeback from frozen shoulder and the physical therapy that followed, as well as a complete hysterectomy and two back surgeries within the last two years. As for the healing time and creative slump that accompanied it… all very difficult to say the least, so I understand to a degree some of what you shared about health and the importance of pushing through the process of healing. I have been journaling and creating my art best I can. Even though it may not be my best work, it’s still forward progress. After being inspired by your message, I am ready to turn my creative energy from meh to WOO HOO! I now feel like plunging into that creative bucket of waffles along with you! Thanks again for reminding me that I WILL feel my creative spirit once again! 😀

I'm happy for you. Your videos have inspired me to go beyond digital illustration and use watercolors for my new book.

Hi :) I'm a web developer and after losing my job a few months ago I'm feeling a little blue. I'd really love a change of environment (trying so desperately to move to London) but I know this kind of thing takes time. To get out of my mind I usually write and this time, after a good old scribbling session I find myself watching Blender tutorial and boy oh boy I'm loving it! A new sparkle has been placed in my creative box. I'm building my 3D portfolio while learning. It's amazing :) love that you had your sparkle back :) lots of love from here (which is the hot Spanish weather) :)

Hi hi! I'm mostly a lurker on here, but I wanted to write a comment. Thank you so, so much for sharing this one; I think I needed to hear it. I've been in the worst rut for months now... I did recently get back into crochet, so at least I'm staying a little creative, but my watercolor art has taken a hit. Haven't painted in months to be frank... I want to be Woo HOO again! The combo of medication side effects and mental health issues that were worsened because of them have made it really hard to get out of my meh slump... I appreciate you sharing all your hard work and advice to the umpteenth degree :D I also wanted to say that I've actually felt a little better; enough to try to make my chicken character in crochet form! She's the main character for my picture book, but I haven't been able to work on that for a while either. I am hoping this will give me a push to getting her story done, at the very least for myself. Thank you again for everything you do and I hope you are having a wonderful day Jules :D

I hope you find your woo-hoo within your chicken! I love crochet too, but I'm very slow. Very mindful artform

Oh Jules! You're so funny! Really good advice. Been there lately myself. Decided I needed to destress. So today I actually took 3 naps! They were glorious! Happy creating! Thanks for the fun!

It's the bi-polar self confidence with me. One day, I totally believe that there's nothing I can't do, and EVERY idea I have is absolutely awesome! Then...I feel useless and self deluded. Nothing works, and all my ideas are stupid. Why isn't there a middle ground?

Ugh I know! 5 years of meditating has definitely helped me. Starting off with 2 minutes at a time. The trick is not not thinking, it’s not worrying about the thinking.

My Dear, to a degree I can empathise, my parents are in their 80s & dying, my health isn't great, but please keep going. God bless.
