You are all saying she's a beginner and asking why she got a good instrument, but just look at how happy she is. That guitar is going to keep her playing for years to come.* Do you know how many have said that in the past? "Let's get the kid an instrument, he will play it for years", and then 1 week later the child is totally over the whole instrument and couldn't care less. It's usually best to purchase a beginner instrument first, everyone knows this.
@sofiaavaria61593 жыл бұрын
@@OriginalPuro She's obviously been playing acoustic and songwriting for a while so I don't think she will just forget about it in a week, especially with how excited she is about the differences and the sound. In my opinion its a good idea to get an instrument you really like with good playability and sound as a beginner because if you are learning on an instrument that is hard to play and sounds bad you will just get discouraged. I say this as someone who has taught a lot of beginners how to play.
@melmel10713 жыл бұрын
@@OriginalPuro if she gives it up then it’ll sad, I agree. But it doesn’t make it bad per se- they could get a nice instrument for her so why not? It’ll get her to play more because it’ll have more meaning to her rather than it being something she begins to hate because it’s not as good as she hoped for. I can say from experience- nicer and more expensive guitars are sm eAsier and niCer to play than cheaper ones. If she wasn’t already playing- I’d understand. But she iS playing and she’s obviously enjoying it :,) I just don’t see any issues here

E. Guitar tips : - play more power chords ( they sound different ) and try not making too much noise when playing. - start playing scales and licks, it really helps building up speed. - ( the most important one for solo and scales ). " When you can learn playing something slowly, you can also play it more speedy - in normal speed. " When you want to learn a difficult solo, first play it slowly. And an extra one : - it is important to spend time with your instrument ( even if you re just holding it and just playing silly things ) because you become used to it ! That's from me, continue playing ! Update : learn the A pentatonic, really helps improving your soloing ! I don't know why i forgot that.

Play with your favorite songs as well as sing from the beginning as well, because this is hard to learn to do well later. Also, do it standing up, not sitting. Its common for a singer songwriter to want to add a dance step or move around to better control and move the crowd. Secret weapon, is showwomanship. I don’t get why everyone mad about it being her first guitar. First of all, player series is essentially a entry level fender, still fantastic option of course, but especially for a where she’s at, it sounds like she’s not an early beginner guitar player either. Second, it doesn’t lose its value. If later she doesn’t care for playing it, she can sell it and get most of their/her money back or if she does pursue it, she has a solid guitar that will grow with her that will sound great in recording, live, etc. Good for you, girl! That’s amazing!

Whoever is starting to play guitar, here are some tips. 1. I'd recommend getting a guitar that fits your music taste, and what you want to play. For example; if you want to play metal and have an acoustic guitar; it just won't work out. 2. Do not rush yourself to become good. Start with simple tabs and chords. 3. Guitar may seem hard when you start, and it is. The hard part is starting, and getting used to the sore fingers (The sore fingers will go away) and hard chords. 4. Expensive doesn't always mean good, start with gear that is around 150-300 dollars (if you're going with a classical or acoustic guitar) for electric guitars, 200-500 is a good range. 5. If you're getting a kit guitar, try getting it set up at the nearest guitar center; the 30-80 dollars are worth it, and you will not regret it. 6. Start with simple and open chords, the easiest chord shapes I know of are C major, D major, A minor, and G major. (G major may be a stretch though) 7. If you're at guitar center, or any musical store, pick any guitar you want to play. You don't always need to ask for help or permission to play certain guitars, although make sure it's not a guitar you cannot play. Usually you don't need to do this. 8. Use a metronome, or just google 'metronome' to play in the pace of the song you're playing. Thank you for reading, I hope this was helpful.

It has a 5 position switch , neck pickups have a deeper bass tone, while bridge has more treble or high pitched sound. and you can mix the tones with the two tone knobs in each switch position. Suggest floating around reverb pages for a used Fender Blues Jr., or a 🔥 Hot Rod Deluxe 🔥 if you're looking to just buy one amp that will play even huge venues, which is still affordable when used. Tube amps have a brilliance that you won't get with a modeling amp, because its the nature of the beast. Tubes are breathing power stages. Solid state amplifiers are valveless (lack tube power stages) and sound much less phonetic and responsive because of it. Either way, best of luck on what will be a wonderful journey. (Blues Jr. used is roughly 400 in best condition or for special editions used, around 600 new) Hot Rod Deluxe is 600-700 used, and 900ish new. Shipping is usually free on amplifiers. This will require pedals to augment the sound beyond simple drive. These amps both have drive, clean, and top notch reverb channels.

The guitar is cheap but it was sooooo good. Congratulations! I remember when I felt like that when opening my first Fender Stratocaster. It took me a while to realise that I love Orange amps (it's a brand and a colour) and really heavy metal sounds. I went through a number of amps to arrive at that point as your musical styles might change over time and so will your sound preferences. I also have to say that new tech has come a long way and you don't necessarily need a valve (tube) amp to get really nice sounds from an amp. You'll probably want a pedal or two after a while. The tones in the amp are great for a beginner, but after a year or so of playing, you'll probably discover that you want something a little different than what your current amp offers, or maybe just a little bit more fine tune-able. The world of effects pedals is right now seemingly endless. Tons of pedals for the same basic thing, and most of them do something just slightly different than the other. My first Orange amp was a Crush12, and I just recently upgraded to a Crush 35RT because it has features that I found myself desiring. That's a great guitar and amp. The amp will work well for you for years. It'll take you a while, but you'll eventually upgrade the amp. As to any advice. Learn scales, and songs, solos are almost entirely comprised of scales. Something to not do immediately is to attempt to shred (playing really fast around and past the 12th fret) as it's not easy to do well, and generally looks and sounds bad when you're really new. I would concentrate on musical phrasing which is how to connect chords and strum patterns to send a message and a feeling. Think of it as having a conversation with someone. Shredding sounds cool for a very short time, but conversations ebb and flow where you talk faster, then slow a little, maybe pause for a second or so, and then start saying something again. Listen to BB King and Ben E King. They're wonderful guitarists who wouldn't make it past the first rounds of today's guitar competitions, but everyone knows who they are, and most (including myself )have no clue who won the 2019 guitar shredding contest.

Wow thank you for such a thoughtful comment! I really appreciate it!! I have a feeling I'll gravitate towards Orange amps in the future (the color is so cool and I've heard great things about them!). Thank you for your advice I'll definitely keep it in mind. Thank you for watching💘

I’ve played for over 20 years and have owned guitars in the 5k to 8k range, Les Paul customs, Custom shop fenders, Jacksons, PRS, Suhrs and Charvels, custom luthier built instruments 🎸 the works, I have recently purchased an hss player series strat and am completely blown away at the quality of this guitar. Price on mine at sweetwater was 849.00 this year but really I am beyond impressed with the new player series guitars. Gig ready guitar after a good set up and it plays along side much higher priced guitars with no problem. This guitar has made me reevaluate the need to spend thousands of dollars on high end guitars. These are great guitars.

That's awesome!!! I have the same guitar but in inca silver! Love it!! Ok so this is what I recommend! Get yourself the Freeway 5B5-01 toggle switch. And get your local guitar shop to install it. Right now you have 5 pickup combinations and with this mod you end up with 10!!!! It's like having a second guitar! And it only costs like $40!!! It gives you the bridge and neck pups together (like a tele) and all three pups together and three other combinations in series which makes the strat sound like it has humbucker pups!!! The best $40 i ever spent!!!!
