The clip on the Shootout and UTX-85 is called a "deep carry" pocket clip because it hides the knife completely in the pocket. The reason the ShootOut is so lightweight is because the handle is made out of carbon fiber. Floss if you gonna be in the knife game you gotta learn how to "middle finger flick" that Medford bro!! I'm so glad the knife game has grown so big we got Floss doing knife videos!! Bro you have to do more!!

All 4 knives are top quality, very nice. The protech will be the best one for unboxing 😁, that blade shape. My favorites are cleaver, sheep foot, tanto blade shapes, and smooth deployment 😃. You should check out some fidget friendly knives, hope to see some in the next video, peace.

I love to see the knife collection starting up. My favorite and biggest recommendation would be the benchmade bugout. Very light weight and with s30v steel it is good quality and will stay sharp for a while. The benchmade bugout bk-2 has cf elite scales just like your new shootout which are more rigid than the original ones. Keep up the content I’m excited to see more.

Hey Floss the Medford is a front flipper. If you get the hang of flipping them they are so fun to fidget with. You can actually flip it out really quick. Use your thumb or index finger on the top left protrusion not the blade groove.

My best friend's a police officer, he keeps telling our friend group to have knife or something "easy to use" to defend ourselves. Population of our city has ballooned but the police force has either stayed the same size or gotten smaller. Wait times are HOURS for assault, its better to lose some of your money to a fine than it is to lose it all or your life

Welcome to the knife community!!!! I love when two things I love come together. Microtech makes decent knives but they are overpriced for what they do and otf knives are prone to failure. If you are looking to start a collection, the industry standard is Spyderco, knife collecting begins there. Then when you have some of their popular models like the Manix2, paramilitary 2&3, Caly, and Yojimbo if you are tactical. Then you NEED to check out Demko Knives. They are starting to do some great things. So check out Demko, Hinderer, and when you get into great brands at the higher levels like that you can check out Rockstead.

Nice choice. True out knives Wyeth wave feature. It hooks onn you’re pocket when you drow it from you’re pocket, it’s fools opens when you’re blade tip leeks the pocket and it’s a manual knives. Also check for assisted opening knives, they as fast as automatic knives, but they on same page as manual knives by law.
