I don't know if I've ever seen Damascus with that much contrast. Absolutely stunning, and I don't normally care for that look.

Maverick Concepts makes some of the sickest knives out there. Love this guy’s stuff. His drop point model is my grail of grails.

The sound samples at the beginning of this one gave me a couple of good chuckles.

Would love to see you review the Eustler D.U.K. There’s a lot of hype around that knife and I want to know if it’s worth the price and how it stacks up to an OZ Rosie or Grimsmo Rask.

Haha I LOVE the way you love this knife. If you ever place a custom order for a flipper-too version, count me in. Maybe we could place a twofer order. Then we can hold our flipper Asukas triumphantly to the sky from the summit of a dark stormy mountain while yelling at the top of our lungs. And after the super cool lightning strikes on our knives, I call shotgun on the helicopter ride to the hospital.

Looks like Nick was staring at a Civivi Vision and said "I can make one better".

Unfortunately, you’re too late because (A) I’ve already followed him for like a thousand years, and (B) he just traded away his only Asuka. 😉

I love the knife but hate the blade. I don’t buy custom knives to look pretty in a case I use everything I own I’m more of a polished blade guy. Just my preference that is all

People like to buy pretty blades not to cut anything with but to close and open and fondle them - if you want to actually ut stuff with your knife you buy a plain ol' 20$ Buck

This is my knife and yep, I use it all the time. Chad Nichols Damascus is actually tough as hell. And other pretty stuff like Damasteel outperforms a lot of other high end steels. So don’t you worry, I’m definitely not letting them get all bored in a safe. I feed them a healthy diet of Amazon packages and Fuji apples.

That’s good that you use your knives. But for me personally, after decades in this hobby, getting the chance to build close friendships with a variety of different knife guys/gals, I’ve learned not to judge how another person decides to spend their money or treat their knives. Gotta love how some people put their knives to hard use. Also gotta appreciate how some collectors keep their knives pristine, to maintain their value for selling and trading. And, gotta love how some people don’t care at all about reselling certain knives, and mod the knives to suit their liking. I personally do all of those, so it’s understandable that there are different circumstances for each knife, because they each have a soul and a purpose. That purpose changes depending on who has the knife, at which point in that person’s journey.
