Surprisingly enough, the HG of the White Dingo GM Sniper 2 is actually really great and has alot of good extras (besides the Bloodhound vehicle, its also got a GM ground type head, soldier figurines, and a rail cannon[bazooka] ) and yes, the beam sniper rifle is color separated.

Congrats! I've had two holy grails, figuarts Thanatos from Persona 3 (came out before I got into figures) and RAH Unit-01 (expense and me being a student at release). Nothing quite like the feeling of nailing those grail kits/figures. I've been lucky in that both lived up to expectations.

The White Dingo GM Sniper is one of my favorite suits ever so I grabbed this kit a couple years ago and weathered it. I actually love the PG styled hands and find that they're perfect for holding those new weapons once you get the grip tight enough. I will admit that the 20+ year old molds for the new weapons are a disappointment though. Since I already have an MG Ez-8 I didn't even bother building the MG, Bazooka, and Beam Rifle Also some extra things about the kit: -it comes with the original GM Sniper II rifle with a fixed hand to hold it, albeit with no back -the holes on the side of the beam rifle are for the wires that connect to the generator from the GM Sniper I -the bazooka came from the MG Ez-8 only. The MG Ground Gundam gets the 180mm cannon instead. Overall despite it's flaws, I absolutely love this kit and it has to be one of my favorite MGs of all time.

I've been building for almost a year. My white whale was the ZZ Ver Ka. I knew one of the sites I watch was getting a shipment in, they gave an update on Twitter around roughly when their new stock would be pushed live, and I sat there with tabs open for the ZZ and the HG Zeta 2.0 for about 2 hours. And it's a good thing I did. They got 12 ZZs in and they were all sold out within 2 minutes. Remember, kids - have your payment info saved on your usual sites. It can be the difference between finally getting your dream kit and having to wait another year or more! I have no doubt in my mind that if I had had to've put in my payment info manually I wouldn't have made it.

This is the PBandai Syndrome, so many awesome looking kits locked behind the PBandai door and then the unique parts aren't up to scratch. I'm used to it from HG kits, but not a "Master Grade". The GM itself is gorgeous though!

Im gonna be using photo etched parts to embellish and probably buy a third party replacement hands as for the weapons, will probbably check if there is a good replacement... nice timing on the review. 10:52 the holes on the side of the sniper rifle should be connected by a 'cable' piece (I 15). you can see it in the promo pictures, maybe you missed it during assembly?

Back then during 00 gundam anime was released and aired 2013-2014 in my country, i always wanted mg 00 raiser so bad but it was expensive and i was a kid, then i only managed to get rg ver in 2018 since mg ver still expensive for me. Last month i pulled the trigger and go all out with mg XN raiser and i say im satisfied with it. Long goal achieved 😁

Wish the HG version of this GM was easy to find. The Grunt Suits of Rise From The Ashes are pretty awesome, just like the Dreamcast game they were originally from. Also, White Dingus.

@@MechaGaikotsu It's a first person in the cockpit mech game. I manage to beat it last year(via emulation, unfortunately) while I was in quarantine and I absolutely love it. The story of said game would he later featured in Gundam Side Stories for the PS3 alongside Blue Destiny as one of the extra chapters.

Redream emulator and youre good to go. The US version is my suggestion but if you want the japanese version look for the bandai best version since it incorporates most of the bonus disc content with that version.

I would like to see your attempts to modify / fix the weapons with this kit. Seamline cement and some basic masking and painting could make a big difference and I think you have the skills to do it.

I've said this before, I think, but the sniper rifle is the same one that came with the 08th MS Team's Ground Type GM kit and if I remember correctly, there were VERY small parts that went into the holes that were on the runner. The only way you could get the kit to hold it was to have a specially molded hand just for the sniper rifle that was a sandwich type to hold it at the angle you had it at. Very tight and held on like it should've done with the other weapons.

My holy grail kit would be the HGUC Neo Zeong. I actually had one pre-ordered when it was announced years ago but according to our country's Customs, the package was "lost" which pretty much meant some corrupt customs official got their kid a Neo Zeong for Christmas. Should've bought one while we still had stocks of it. I'm still on the hunt for it but I'd rather buy it on its retail price as much as possible. As for holy grail figures, mine would be the Metal RD Infinite Justice.

At 10:52 you mention slots that don't seem to be used for anything. You forgot to add a small part. It's greeble that looks like a small wire that connects between those two slots. You can see it at 4:53 in the art and on the runner at 5:33 on the right side. I remember this rifle very well. It was on my MG GM Ground Type that I built in the mid 2000's and was my first MG that I built. I never did get rid of the seem line down the center.

When I got my kit last year I was very happy to get it since I miss the boat on the standard GM Sniper 2. The WD kit is pretty much the same as the other but with the extra weapons. I was disappointed with the Beam sniper that is from the other kit but still I wanted to try something different. Look up me build of it and you will see what I did with it. I quite like this colourscheme. The default version's weird blue/green never really sat well with me. I've actually tested these colours on other MS via GBO2 and they looked rather handsome in the white & blue. Just a shame the other White dingo lads were in that awful steel grey... I'd love to have this kit but i've no time for MGs, let alone P-Bandai ones. :(

Actually the white color is easy target to get shoot. The only situation white color works around snow scenery. Also grey, black or green works in almost every situation that's why real life military didn't use color such as white, red or yellow..

Your comments of dated features ring true for the Deep Striker I'm working on. Pretty sure some of the base S Gundam is from old kit. Right now, holy grail kits are the P-Bandai Jesta variants, the Cannon & the Shezaar types.

Gonna have to call put his complaint about the PG style hands. I've 10 or so kits that use that style of hand, some being over a year old now, and they have no issue holding to weapons. Out of all the build I only ever had issues with the fingers was my first time with the hands and it's due to how rough I was setting the fingers in place. And with how lazy Mecha is it wouldn't surprise me he was too. But after I learned to be gentle with the initial positioning I've had no issues with them and they have become my favorite style of hand.

Heads up. At 10:50 That slot isn't suppose to be hollow. there's a small cable piece that's suppose to be there on the sniper rifle has. You probably missed it on the runners.

so what I find hilarious about that beam rifle is that's the Ground Type Gundam's Beam Rifle and even the HG version of that rifle is in white and grey, so the fact they didn't do that for the MG is really bad

This, the white dingo gm and gm cannon mg kits are on my want big time list. Need to find a not shadey website for visch donahue waterslides for a gelgoog I painted and figure some way to mash up gouf revive and gouf custom parts. The hg sniper wd is great. The gm/guncannon and visch gouf/gelgoog can be passed over if you can do paintiing. Im pretty big into this game and try to do a full playthrough every few months on twitch and also hold the speedrun world record currently. Wish the last half of the manga got translated but its still pretty great even in raw format.

The white dingo is literally an MG kitbash with an alternate paint job. You could have easily made your own version with parts from the GM Sniper and Sniper II.

I think this is a P-Bandai aspect, at least at that point in time. This product is aimed at experienced builders, just like the Astray Noir was. These weapons really need to have a notch carved out to match the hands.

I suppose my white whale is the HG Destiny Gundam Heine Westenfluss Ver. I don't even really like the Destiny but I quite liked Heine's brief time in the show. He was the only normal guy in Zaft, sort of filled the void in the series left behind by Mu.

You know, I was looking forward to this guy as well. It's a sniper unit, with cool colors to boot. That said, it's sad to know that OOB, this is a sniper unit that can't use the sniper weapon, and is delegated to close or mid range combat instead. I mean, you could probably make use of that in canon UC, but this is a gunpla. What's more, we know Bandai reuses stuff with PBandai, so they could have just included the regular weapons and probably the hands as well. At least with that, it could have used a sniper rifle instead.

There was a reprint of it recently, but I think it was exclusive to China. I got one from Aliexpress (arrived already) and it has the blue bandai logo instead of the old red. The only downside is that the box arrived a little smashed, but no parts were loose or broken

I own that kit. If you have other Origin Zaku II kit its practically the same kit. Means its one of the best HG Zaku II. You have two option for the backpack. A long range cannon on the shoulder or a gatling gun. I gave the backpack to the Origin Zaku II C-6/R6 and planning to customize the Half Cannon.

Built the hg in January and that is correct. It has 1 runner of the ground gundam ground war set. Also has some extra stickers, and 2 tiny eff soldiers.

I preordered this kit as soon as it was announced. The excitement while waiting for my very first P-Bandai kit was matched by equal disappointment. I could not make the supplied arms work. Whenever i moved one finger, one or two others would just fall off. I don't understand why the entire arm runner was removed and replaced by this fancy crap. I ended up using aftermarket arms that are just as well articulated but of much better manufacturing quality. For some reason, one of the leg joints would just not stay in hip section and pop out at slightest attempt to pose. And one of the feet does slides out every time i pick the kit up. I also remember that there were some issues with the shield. But my disappointment in the kit was such that i just put it into the box and haven't touch it ever since. So i don't even remember, what the exact issue was. After this i refused to acknowledge P-Bandai as actual Gunpla for years. Recently i bought few kits. And while some of them were not as crappy as GM Sniper II, most were a disappointment in one way or another. Mostl come with wobbly fitting parts or poor engineering solutions, that are nothing like engineering i would expect from Bandai. Here in the West, we are used to the concept that "Premium" denotes superior quality (at the same time, being aware of marketing trickery). But my experience with P-Bandai led me to believe, that in Japan "premium" means something intentionally made to much much lower quality standards.

Ah well, that's a shame. Kind of looks like a Patlabor police version of an MS. My 'can't get' kit is the PG MK II. There was a Titans version available, but I don't like the colors. Can't order it from outside the EU because my country will tax the entire value on top, so I just have to wait for my plastic pusher to get one.
