I think you will like it. I hook it up here from time to time. In fact, I just hooked it back up today. So right now I have two monitors hooked up to my computer. One is an LG 4K monitor and next to it the ultra wide. OH, wait. NO the review here is of the new ultra wide. I wish I had it. It is in the other room. My grown son is using it.

Are this monitor specifically LG 34WK650-W can doing PIP or PBP thing?

Yes, there is software and it can do PIP. Not sure what PBP is however. Now the software I know runs under Windows. Not sure if it works with some other O/S.

How good is this monitor for productivity (emails, reading, spreadsheets, etc)? Will you recommend it?

It would be great for those things. I gave it almost right away to my grown son. He needed a monitor. I wish I had not given it to him now. My problem with the monitor was the 21:9 format. All the rest of my monitors are the 16:9 format. Now it is a WIDE monitor. Make sure you have room on your desk for it.

Can you use this monitor as a one screen not two, is it good for photo editing ?

If you want you can just use the full-screen size of 2560 by 1080 as your work area. You install a utility that lets you use the screen in different areas. People, KZbin people, say the monitor is excellent for gaming and for watching videos. I am not using it now. My grown son is using it now. I have gone back to using two 1080p monitors side by side. That seems to work better for me.

@@hnbbs Why does it work better for you? I'm considering the two options (2 x 24" screens versus 1 x 34" screen). Mainly for work (productivity - savings me from printing or flipping back and forth between screens) at home. I have a two monitor setup at work and love it, but for home 1 screen has an appeal, but only if it functions like 2.
