Was there any concern from your piercer about being too close to the original hole even after it had closed up? I just got my seconds done yesterday and I have instant regret on the spacing. They’re too far from my firsts. I’m going to go in to ask about taking them out, letting them close, and then re-piercing, but I’m nervous that they’re going to tell me they can’t go too close to the original one / scar tissues / etc. I guess I’m nervous about re-piercing and the hole connecting? If that makes sense? Curious what your person said when you went in!

I was worried about the same thing! She didn’t have any concern. I guess it was closed up enough🤷🏼‍♀️ One of mine was too far away (like yours) so that one was re-pierced right next to the original to be closer to my first hole. The other was in a good spot so it was repierced right over the initial. I’ve taken mine out by now to change them out and you don’t see a mark from them being pierced the first time. I was sooo nervous too but based on my experience I think it will be totally fine!!

Did it hurt to get them repierced? I got my seconds done at Claire's years ago and want to get them redone but so scared that they will hurt because of scar tissue.

I’m not going to lie, it definitely did. It wasn’t a whole lot worse than the first time and is over so quick that I wouldn’t let that stop you if you really want them done though!! Mine were also a lot more fresh when I got them repierced so you may not have issues at all😊

I got mine repeirced a year after I got them done the first time, because they kept getting infected. The first time I got them done at Claires, the second time I got them done at my doctor's office with the gun. It definitely hurt a lot more, but it's quick, and I think if you already went through it once you might as well do it again so you can wear earrings. I have no idea how the needle feels

If you haven’t yet definitely go for it! I just got my seconds done at Clare’s yesterday. I had one second before that was healed but you could still see the scar, the other ear never had anything. I got the piercing in the same original hole over the scar tissue and that one I didn’t even feel. I have a really low pain tolerance and I’m really squeamish around needles. I swear I didn’t even feel the one with the scar tissue. The other one was more of a pinch but definitely not bad at all. I didn’t have any heat after and I can’t even feel them today.
