Ehhh, i've never been much of a coral person anyway. They can be cool lookin i guess but they are pretty much just rocks. I love fish in tanks not rocks lol you do you man. Id really like to have a grouper, like a bumblebee but im not sure how the price translates from having a fresh pool pond to marine pool pond. Idk how the filtration differs and if you can use a "fresh water" filter and use them for marine water setups. My dream setups are a redtail pool pond which i have already, and a marine pool pond with bonnetheads or bamboo sharks and a bumblebee grouper. I like predatory large fish, i just like predators lol i have a 4 1/2 foot american alligator and a few large snakes. I live life on the edge of sketchy, some may say the gator pushes it into full sketchy lol

I use to have a coral tank and then moved to just a planted macro algae tank . Super simple . I do like zero water changes . Maybe once like every 6 months . Tank has been running fine for over two years with zero issues and water has always been clear .

​@@jordangarneau3022 yeah with enough macros you can do no water changes and don't even need to run a skimmer. Kinda like corals they absorb nutrients out of the water but unlike corals they don't affect levels like calcium, magnesium, potassium and the like. They just absorb the nutrients that will accumulate from fish and food waste
