You do you man i've been watching you for years and it dosn't matter how your video ends up it's always a good time watching! I started studying and saving since 4 years ago to start my own LFS. Watching your videos helped push me over the edge to cement this goal and inspire me to help the hobby in ways that the chain stores don't. So at the end of the day if Joey is happy with what he's doing know that others share mutual feelings.

Been watching you for YEARS. Of course I would love you to go back to your videos. But at the end of the day your happieness is whats most important. So for me, I want you to do what makes you happy!

Joey, I've been with you since you were still building the 2000G aquarium. I've seen all the highs and lows since then and throughout all of it I've been so engaged and interested in it that it made me re-discover my love for this hobby. I cannot thank you enough for the positive impact you have had on me, and on other members of the community who value your expertise and compassion for this hobby. We all love you. I will not lie, however, that the last couple of years the experience on the channel hasn't been as engaging as it was before the pandemic when, like you said, you were doing "blog-esque" videos. Over the years I noticed how less and less videos were uploaded to the channel and it didn't bother me, the content was engaging and I understand how life can be. Then after a while it felt like more fun content was being published on other platforms like Insta or on a livestream, and the channel itself was missing out on that fun/updates. Now with the release of this video I know why that was the case, and I completely understand. If you're not engaged with the content you're producing, then why bother? I get it. At the end of the day this is your channel; you run it how you want to, and as long as you're engaged, comfortable, and having fun then the rest of us will be too.

You should do what makes you the most happy. Your videos being confidence to others in the same hobby. Plus, your DIY projects are awe-inspiring.

I got into watching the channel because of your videos on plywood tanks…which I took and used to build my reptile enclosures. I would watch videos like that any day.
