I did some digging! The gnome is $7.30 for a 2 pack. The boo pillow is $5.50 for a 2 packs. Those were the only two items I could find exact matches for from transpac but everything was pretty cheap in their catalog! So no way it was worth nearly $200!!

@@ClandestineMariah Except here, it's more like nontupoling (x9). There are eight items in this $159 box, so the value should be just shy of $20 per item. If you Take the Boo pillow at two for $5.50 and nontupole it, that's $20.25.

See, you said you didn't want signs with words, but you didn't say you didn't want a sign with words AND BEADS! 😂 the round eyed square pumpkin absolutely would be nightmare inducing. I just realized I say no clutter of many kinds but have a soft spot for other clutter. Omg. I have a lot of makeup but when I get makeup I’m like hell yeah. All of the items in the box were literally from the Halloween Farmhouse collection (there were a few other items in the category that you could have gotten like a pillow with words, black and orange beads on a string, a pie dish with a pumpkin face, etc). But there was also a Spooky collection, a Sweet (i.e., candy-corn) collection, and a Glam collection for this box. Although all of the items look cheap.

I'm so glad you did this video! I had a subscription to Ready Festive for over a year. I actually love farmhouse decor and signs with words, so their style fit mine perfectly. Did they always send warehouse items made in China? Yes. Did it always feel overpriced? Yes. Fortunately, since I paid upfront for a year, the discount I received made me feel better about it. But then they started overcharging me for boxes I added on and after they went on Shark Tank, their customer service absolutely became nonexistent. They didn't respond to ANY of my emails. I had to go and remove my credit card number from my account because I couldn't even unsubscribe. Never got the overcharges fixed. Oh, and they definitely ignore the preferences you enter. The last time I was subscribed, they just sent out a limited number of pre-made box selections and you just picked which box you wanted (you may or may not have even gotten these options from them, they might not even do it anymore). Anyway, super excited to see your re-creation of this box!

Hello from Australia 🇦🇺. I couldn’t resist and did a search for the company and you can get items in bed bath and beyond and target from the same company. The small cushion is supposed to be part of a pair so they have probably broke the set apart sent others the second one to save a bit of money. It looks like they sent you a box of stuff that was costed out at the retail price instead of, at the very least, costing it at the wholesale price and making it a bit cheaper or giving you more items. I looked up Transpac, and it originally WAS sold as a set of two. Most of the items in this video from that one company were sold in sets originally, were on DEEP discount, and the sets were bought and split up to be put in different peoples' boxes.

The gnome is my fave. The box has Fall items & would be great for those who can't get out. I can see decorating a room in a nursing home with these decorations. I feel like this one of stuff should be done like stitch fix. There's an interior decorator or something that will specifically curate home decor products for you. Whatever you keep you pay for, and there's a stylist fee. That's the only way I could understand a price like this

I don't burn my candles at all. I do use a little coffee warmer to melt them instead. I feel like the smell is better and lasts longer.

Hi I enjoyed watching your haul. I agree with that the price is not what the items are worth. The candle is nice. I use a candle warming lamp. It melts the wax from the top with the LED light bulb. There is no flame and the candle throw is like a cold candle throw since you aren't burning it. Plus if you are like me it won't matter if you forget to turn it off because it won't burn the house down. My kids love mine so they are all getting one for Christmas. Yes please do a compare your shopping to this box. I am sure you would get items on clearance that are so much better quality. Hugs and blessings.

That pumpkin coffee mug handle should have been the stem or vines but left it open on the bottom so only the top of the handle was connected to the mug, therefore your hand could hold of comfortably!! Love the video, love your honesty and enthusiasms¡!

Hi Alexandra. I have worked for a fairly large wholesale company that has bought from Collins and Transpac, and sells products that are very similar to this. I would estimate about $75 wholesale cost for these items. Retail markup is usually at least double the cost, so retail value, maybe $150-$175. This is 💯 farmhouse style, and you’re not getting a significant savings for a subscription style service to be worth it. Just my thoughts!

You definitely got ripped off 😠 AND why did they bother asking your preferences if they were going to send you exactly the opposite??! I own an old remodeled farmhouse. We kept some original items such as the big 2 basin porcelain/enamel kitchen sink and the cast iron bath tub. I love my farmhouse and most of the items you received would go very nicely in here. BUT they aren’t worth what you got charged. I wouldn’t buy from that company again. I would love to see you recreate the box. I bet you could do it for a third of the price if not less.
