I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at kislux and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i. e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.

I use my kislux as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.

Years ago, more like decades ago, I bought a "knock off" driver. I don't remember what brand, but the claimed titanium head passed the magnet test, which was nice, but the shaft was like a kid's fishing rod in flex. The finish markings were poor, and I don't remember what I did with this experiment in knock-off clubs. A failed test and lesson learned. Well sort of, I did buy a set of Takoma irons and they are pretty good. So much so I'm considering taking a chance on their driver and 3 wood...

A guy I know bought a complete set of Ping irons, woods and bag while he was in China. When he went to pick them up the guy said that would be a total of $210.00! The guy said “Are you sure”? The Chinese guy said “Sorry, is that too much?” The head flew off the three wood into a pond the first time he hit it.

My second set of clubs was a Callaway clone of the Hawkeye's I think. It was 20 odd years ago and I wasn't a good enough player to tell any difference in those days. These are something to see, the huge waggle in that PW was hillarious.

The legal controls in China and other parts of Asia are not the same as in most parts of the world. Odds are the companies just have to say that buyers should know they are knock offs and voila, their likely off the hook

Very interesting! Those "Wish" clubs, and especially the graphite shafts version, I don't think they would last very long for a younger golfer. Maybe for a Senior Golfer, like myself, might be able to use them without any problems. At 66 years old, I don't swing anywhere near as I did in my 30's up until my early 50's. I change changed my shafts from Tour Stiff Rifle shafts to Regular steel shafts. They fit my swing speed , and with my lower back, left knee & elbow problems, I need something a bit easier to swing. My 8 iron only carries about 110 yards, but with an easier, more controlled swing, I am a bit more accurate. I will stick to my current clubs...I still love my Nike irons, and once and a while I pull out my 1960's vintage Wilson Staff Fluid Feel irons! They are still fun to play!

I would imagine those irons are about the same quality as a pkg set. I had some as a kid and kept caving the face on my 3i. Cheap alloy instead of stainless steel

Instinctively I would guess knock offs with steel shafts would be more consistent. It's only fairly recently graphite iron shafts have become something really worth considering. They aremore complex to make and steel has the chance of at least a basic model from a real manufacturer

I think there may be many golfers, like myself, that do not have the experience and skills to tell the difference between results from inconsistent swings or inconsistent clubs. From the images the "stiff graphite" shafts on the cheap imitation clubs look floppier than my senior graphite shafts, but customers will not detect that before purchase. It basically goes to fundamental principles of "buyer beware". If it appears to good to be true, then do not buy. You remarked that the stiff graphite shafts in the imitation set normally sell for £150 each. That alone should be ringing alarm bells. But people do love a "bargain".

I’ve had a 12 year break from golf and so far have only played on range. I purchased the Taylormade 790 phantoms 4to sw ( 8clubs). For 256.00 complete with kbs 8.0 stiff shafts. They feel really good to me. I asked the local pro to hit my 4 iron on the trackman. He hit it nearly 200 into wind slightly. He did comment it didn’t go as far as his club but he couldn’t tell just by looking that it’s a fake. Bearing in mind these clubs retail at 1300.00. Purchased from Ali express a few months ago.

The Wish set are based on the 1st gen P-770. The 'tungsten' logo looks more similar to the 1st gen. These could very well be overstock old iron heads, or factory defects.

Sometimes that’s the angel of the camera. If you look the angle is never directly behind James more off to the side which affects the shot tracer apps.

Ive got a tietliest 54 degree wedge. I bought from Lazada. I knew it was fake. ( Just curious)1240 baht. Im a decent golfer. Been down to 4 handicap. I cant argue with it. Very consistent in length. 94 yards. Nicely weighted. I have 2 genuine. And it dont scuff golf balls up. Im obviously one of the lucky ones.

We ordered a set of these same clubs but heads only at a much better price. We then installed a set of new KBS 115 gr. R-flex shafts which had been pulled from another set of irons. After testing them we put them out with other rental sets. Being new looking Taylor Made 790 they were rented often by people looking to rent clubs for a round of golf. Thus far we have not received a single complaint about the clubs not performing as expected and one person who travels here on business rents them every time he comes to the club to play and he shoots in the mid to upper 70's which he says is the same as he shoots back home with his set of Titleist clubs. As for your video, you often will say after hitting clubs outside you will need to get them inside to really test them. But on this set after not seeing a great deal of difference between sets indoors you said you needed to get back outdoors to test. Should this lead us to believe that indoor testing may not be all it's cracked up to be?

Hope you reported the supplier to Trading Standards and TM, OEM’s do masses of R&D, some of the direct to consumer clubs are close to the clone mark, those Sub70 prototypes are an example, but clearly they meet copyright qualifications, these are deliberate fraud of both the buyer and the OEM.
