I personally am not a fan of the couch in that spot, people might get hit with the pool cues, plus I personally don't like couches pushed against the wall if you can help it. You have so much space in that room that I would build a seating area closer to where the fireplace is, with a large rug, the couch & a couple of chairs. Of course, this is just my opinion but since you asked, I thought I would share. You could even put the couch facing the fireplace with a chair on either side. Just always use an area rug big enough for at least part of the couch & chairs to sit on:)

Good job with the speed thrift Danni. Make sure you measure your room for the pool table carefully. Most bar pool tables are around 8' x 4' and cue sticks are 58". To allow for proper clearance for the pool stick stroke, you should have at least 5' clearance on all sides, or you will have a problem with "tight spots". If the sofa is too large, you could put bar stools at that bar area for seating. That way you won't need any tables because you can use the bar for beverages, snacks, etc...Sometimes an empty room can look deceivingly large, but a pool table needs a very large area to be able to play properly. I'm so thrilled for you and your family finding this amazing house! You've been on an emotional roller coaster lately, but things always have a way of working out. Love from Hawaii. 💖🏝

I’m a paper crafter and I use Undo to remove things stuck down with adhesive. It works great for getting labels off and it will not hurt the surface. You can use it on paper, plastic, glass, etc. You will love it!

About the pool table. Be sure you’ve got enough space all around it for full extension of the cue sticks. The couch looks like people might get jabbed if they’re sitting there? It’s hard to tell on the video.

I agree..plus I'm not a fan of having couches against the wall, especially with all of the space she has in that room. I would do a seating area over closer to the fireplace & divide the space up better!

This was one of the best videos with so many different things going on . I'm glad you let the spider go outside probably came inside to get out of the heat .The couch looks good where it is and with side tables it will give it the illusion of taking up more space , maybe even a tall plant in that area 🇨🇦🦩

Awwww! Thank you for saving the spider and not making it a splat. I raised a spider from thumb nail size to palm size. I had a molt station ready Incase I ever had to help her. She had a bad molt while I was out of town and my little girl, Nico, died from it. She had an amazing personality! It’s easy to love spiders. I don’t like them getting on me though. I love those leather like baskets. So pretty! And come on...every one needs a pink donkey! I am so happy and excited for you to get all moved into your new home💛💛💛

I would have gone to the bank and had them do a "Certified Check" made out to the company name and not to any individual name of a person. It is sad that we have to always be so suspicious when doing business these days because some people are not honest. I am sorry you got scammed into paying more than you should have paid

This company is all over Oregon. I moved from Cali to Oregon many years ago and used Starving Students. They were 6 days late but turned out fine because we had to wait 6 days longer to get into our house. They pulled up the day we got the keys. Sorry you had a bad experience.💕💖

Noah made a Very good point. Did you check to make sure All of the work was done & done thoroughly. Thats why I always watch the work being done, even if I have to have someone else with me to watch all the workers. With duck work you'll have to watch both ends. That guy sounds like a heaping pile of ScheiBe to me.

Some home services "companies" are not really licensed businesses. They only take cash, check or Zelle so they don't have to report revenue and pay taxes. Years ago, I hired a few guys to do landscaping and remove tree stumps and they charged $2000 cash but did a great job on my yard. The only risk is they probably aren't insured so no protection if they do poor work.

I use an interior door over two heavy duty two drawer file cabinets as a desk. I also have the padded shelf liner under the door, so it does not slide. Although I have never had a problem with sliding.

Just thinking check the dryer to make sure they really did the work. That could start a fire. Take out lint trap, stuff white floor swiffer cloth down dryer vent, hang on to it, pull it out. Absolutely spotless it should be. That's how you know.

My Grandfather had 3 tarantulas as pets. He asked me if I wanted to hold one and I was like Kari...."BARK" no I don't want to hold one. You must have a source of water near your house. During mating season those little, "BARK" are everywhere trying to find a mate.
