It can even the field some what, plus being "low" power in terms of motorsport, you really have to push the cars that little extra. Plus, everyone loves a go-kart 😂

@@boziewz6125 yeah definitely even the field up. I did one of Jardier Community Races when they did a few on AC, Mini Cooper S race cars, and I was closer to the front, but when I play ACC I’m more near the back. I just go out to have fun and do my own thing and the best I can

@NigeyB81 that's my kinda race style till I can improve my lap times a little and learn pack dynamics lol. I'm good on a controller in console titles, but wheel and pedals, although better, its a steeper learning curve. But you don't learn without doing. But, ive gotta say, im having a lot more fun (ashamed a little) with the mx5, than I do with the gt3 style cars.

@@boziewz6125 you sound just like me! When I sign up for a race I will normally go in the slowest car if it’s a multi class race, it’s all fun. I don’t get much time to practice as away a lot with work, so it’s usually jump in when I can and have a go

This FWD car is going to naturally understeer a lot when applying the throttle, very different to RWD cars like the GT3 we are used to in ACC. Gotta let the car rotate before applying throttle or you run very wide/understeer into hell Amazing race btw, very fun to watch!

Hey Jardier! I love these races too! LFM has hit the right spot introducing AC, Loved the videos as always! In regards to steering rotation, I keep it at 900 for AC in general, and I haven't seen any issues car rotation. Have you tried doing that? This might be a stupid suggestion and someone can correct me if I'm doing it anything wrong. Cheers, Saber!

Going to have a look at lfm later, seen 3 or 4 videos pop up now saying the racing has taken a turn for ac and got so much better. I was struggling with WSS, but, I'll definitely be taking more of a look in lfm now

Ive found these cars love to be revved high in the slow corners, like that chicane you could almost go down to gear 1. Ive found you csn keep trwction a lot better too

Hey Jardier, did you consider using heliocorsa. It gives proximity just like ACC. Helps with close racing side by side.

Hey I've briefly driven one of these cars! The sound is a little disappointing, the straight cut gears and the turbo are super pronounced IRL. I believe that they have a torque vectoring differential. If that's simulated in this mod, it could be why the force feedback feels weird. Also maybe try dragging the brakes when on throttle in a turn, it can help eliminate understeer in FWD cars.

These slower corners in fwd I found out you need to do more of a v shape than u shape and point the car straight earlier

I find you need to rotate these cars on the brake and traibake deep into the corner.

18:08 Jup... GT3 is very beginner friendly. People will have a hard time believing it until they try racing close-to-stock cars... :)

IDK about that. The faster cars inherently have less margin for error in terms of where you can brake. As a filthy casual, I find GT3s or anything faster super hard, especially at tracks I don't know. Even though slower cars have a different driving style with more weight transfer and less relying on aero, I find them way more forgiving.

yeah sequential. You can use sequential and use clutch only when downshift, but with most modern sequentials you dont need clutch at all after you drove out :)
