Honestly, the entry fee into motorsport is simply too ridiculously high that the sport is probably missing out about 99.9% of hidden talents that never had a chance to even race go-kart.
@yusriyahbagheri88434 күн бұрын
My sim pit cost about 10k. I had a functioning one at 3k and been upgrading stuff ever since. Its been over 5 years of saving $50 here and there and buying a part. A go-cart is cheaper than that. You can rent one and race too. Not everyone will get to this level of racing. But lucky for everyone in the USA, at least getting into some form of racing is pretty easy and can be done for pretty cheap. Or you can just build a sim and race with people on this level everyday. I'm pretty sure my current setup far exceeds some of the rigs these guys started on. If you cant scrounge up some money and race you will never get into motor sports, or any sport as an adult. Everything cost money. Pay admission and if you are good people will notice. The price of entry is cheaper than most want to admit. Most people cant budget to save their lives.

Hey just figured I would respond as I'm 32 myself. Its never too late to start, and you don't have to go pro to enjoy this sport. Get yourself a cheap kart and start racing your local kart series if you can save up for it. Its probably only $100-150 total every race weekend. That includes the fuel to get there and back, the kart, the fuel for the kart, all of that. Its challenging getting everything setup for it but its definitely the most affordable way to race. I sim raced for years and I wish I had done it a lot sooner because its so much fun even in the slow LO206 class. Its the most affordable to race. While the thrills from insane acceleration and Gforces might not be as high as other series the racing is SUPER close, you're always in a battle for the whole event. Its been a great way to dip my feet in IRL racing.

Being a radical racers isn't easy this ain't clio cup and even that can be tough. I can see how much confidence you now have in that car also. Imagine when you gain that second? Like wow. You are just one of the best racers I've ever seen in any car I've seen. You have a very special mind. That soaks everything in. You have helped ao many people get better also and they fact peoppe listened to you while you were so young just shows how knowledgeable you are. Most legit go why would I listen I'm older then him but people didn't do that. They knew that you knew what you were saying. You are a beast and enjoy the life man! Wow! First video Ive ever seen of yours.. I’m crying brother. To see you live your dreams and share you’re story, I hope the rest of you’re lifetime brings peace and happiness. You have overcome a lot. Especially with the last 5 years being the hardest for a young man like yourself. Good job and congratulations my friend!

Ik I don’t want to start anything between racers who are silver spooned into racing but the sim racers who make it into real racing can yall stand up for us more i understand actions speak louder than words but everytime I look up anything to get into racing it’s always some pricks talking about how you can’t do it and i started wen I was a kid in karts nobody will sponsor you just nothing but PURE negativity it’s frustrating makes me not even want to go wheel to wheel racing with these guys I can’t trust em I go to my local track all the time and been planning to buy a radical or one of the used race cars up there but demoralizing hearing nothing but negativity but seeing this shined a new light I really appreciate you man keep turning the wheel with the best of em

Congratulations on your progress. I'm a lifelong car enthusiast who just took to leap into sim racing since I don't have the time or money to work on my track car currently. Your dedication is an inspiration.

What are your thoughts on things like belt tensioners and motion rigs? I know pedals and rig are more important but I would like to know about your experience with belt tensioners and motion rigs, and whether you own or plan to own either for your own rig. Thanks
