Sometimes.....if you don't have a enough wire length to "swap" breaker locations (like here top to bottom)....sometimes you can create the open slot area by moving up ( or down) the entire breaker array that is above or below the chosen, new "open" spot. Meaning.....each breaker in that stack only moves by one or 2 slots.....but you are moving an entire "Stack" of breakers, to create the new "opening"......I hope this vusually makes sense.

Yes totally! Thankfully I got lucky on this one and didn't have to spend the time to shift that whole bank of breakers around.

@@joemilton7552 .....👍..yeah...I needed to do that when installing an interlock....ended up not being too bad as the connections to the breakers were still "neat" and almost 90 degree entry path...as before. Each "new" breaker location was only 1 or 2 slots different than before. Cheers.
