Respect to your pops! A Great road captain has his eyes on everywhere and everything .. But from a fathers perspective, it’s the best times out riding with your son, but also the most stressful. You never stop watching your kids like they are your little babies. My son turned 5 and wanted his first “real” ride.... so I threw the tour pack on my road glide and away we went.. fuck, the most stressed I’ve ever been lmao! I think I created a monster........... he’s hooked.. ✊🏼 be safe out there keep the rubber side down..... at least 1 wheel

That's why I don't mind being behind a group of Harleys on my long rides out west, They are the safest on the road and have a set of rules to follow, A group of kids on sports bikes and someone's gonna get hurt or killed eventually, They don't have a set of rules and are showing off to each other constantly.

although yes your eyes are on the road........ but be aware that when you turn your head, the wind is being pushed to were your head is pointing putting a small force against your head which transfers to your body and then transfers to the motorcycle. this starts to cause the bike to lean by the force by a tiny amount which can make you turn. but when your eyes are still looking forward even though your head is turned, your brain counteracts with that which makes you unconsciously countersteer to keep the bike strait to were the brain is targeting in vision. this is why they say look far ahead and look through the turn. I can understand your dads point of view. Be careful out there brother! Peace!
