As for Tamura After he was fired for abusing his employees and that he underpaid them. He was blacklisted from the industry he worked in due to his mid age his abuse and his lack of respect for others and remorse for his actions. Tamura asked his family to help him but his family also found out about his abuse and completely disowned him while also cutting ties with him. Tamura lived on the streets but he still didn’t let go of his pride so much that he decided to do the unthinkable. Tamura later snuck back into the company and held mitsumasa hostage blaming him for his downfall. The other employees tried to stop him but Tamura only hurt them more and when one employee said that he did this is himself, that employee was completely injured to a near death by Tamura in a fit of rage. The CEO heard the commotion and saw that Tamura had returned to cause trouble, The CEO upon his seeing his employees in bad condition was enraged, the enraged CEO beat down Tamura and completely threw him out of the office but waiting outside was a group of cops who were called by the CEO and Tamura was arrested for assault battery and attempted murder and The judge seeing as Tamura is guilty of many severe crimes was sentenced to life imprisonment for good. Tamura was beaten down by inmates frequently that is until he became a lifeless NPC that never woke up from existence. That’s all folks

The bad manager most likely learned his black ways from him and he became the scapegoat when someone noticed. It's just that, in my experience, sometimes a nudge or even shaking the person isn't gonna snap them out of it. You need something to get that out of that trance-like state. I've been there before, my siblings and my dad saved me twice. No matter how much they try to talk to you, it won't go through. You can hear them, but all that emotion in your heart keeps all of what they are saying from actually making sense. And in the end, you're just gonna you're own life anyway. Slapping them is a means of breaking that trance-like state, adrenaline then starts kicking in. You gotta apologize after of course, once they get their bearings you gotta talk to them. Because sometimes all these people really need is someone to listen to their problems, unclog all of that feeling inside their hearts. In the MC's case, it doesn't help that he also has over-fatigue which worsens it 10 fold. It doesn't need to be a hard slap like what the FMC did, but it's a way to get your adrenaline going, to bring back your focus. Otherwise you'd just be like a zombie no matter how many times people try tor each out to you.

I worked at a call center that was not as bad as this. But they broke my contract, along with civil and federal laws. So I quit, and sent an email to not only everyone in that global multinational company, but also at the company we contracted from. The fall out was that within 2 weeks of my leaving, almost 3/4 of the workforce also quit. The building manager was fired. Just a little over a year later the place shut down and within a few years the entire company went under.also during this time, multiple lawsuits were filed that they lost costing them millions. I know his pain. I used to work for Walmart. Pushing carts for 5 years straight put me in a painful position. 567 agrivationts every day.
