all i had was all throughout the day every kid had a red card yellow card or green card well i should say 2 cards per little card slot holder and one had green and yellow on the two sides then one full red and if you misbehaved the card would get flipped to yellow as a warning waving in your direction of bad behavior sometimes you got a short timeout depending on what it was about then if it went red you had a longer timeout or skipped recess , or a parent call depending what you did and if you were in good behavior on green all week which was really hard cause the elementary school i went to was really harsh on kids and has been shut down i think demolished for years in a smallish town , with maybe an exception of one yellow flip you got to have extended recess or pick from a treat bin of sorts i can’t remember exactly it was forever ago

I've had fun teachers before and they had something like this, she'd give a fake currency that we'd get for different reasons, like helping others or answering a question right. We could rather save up for something for ourselves to be exchanged at the end of every month, or we could save up to buy the class a pizza party. The fun teachers in question are my grade 7 and grade 8 teachers. Both of them were so nice, and I miss them both.

This is so sweet, my school has a behaviour points system and once you reach a certain amount of points you can buy stuff on an app (i live in the UK btw) but that's taken from the school money, you are buying this using your own money and that's so nice, I hope the kids appreciate it!

My favorite part of fifth grade was Friday afternoon store time! Teacher gave us stamped “coins” (gold paper) every time we did anything good. She even had gum which was a big no-no in the school. She’d call it “project x” and remind us to not get caught chewing it as we were walking towards dismissal lol. She was the sweetest old lady. Her granddaughter also taught in the school.

It’s a classroom economy! The kids earn “money” for good behaviors, being kind, turning in work, etc., and then they can spend their “money” on these prizes. Some teachers also have the students pay “rent” for their desks or reward students for having clean desks. It’s meant to teach money management as well as responsibility. My school has since disallowed this because it’s extrinsic motivation, but my class’s money was just printed off a template I found online and had pictures of my cats on the different denominations. I got things like chips, fidgets, crayons and coloring books, etc. the kids loved it, and many of my students found it motivating to be able to shop at the end of each week.
