I love it when you think the ground will hold after a fair bit of Rain has been on the track you think is solid enough to hold the weight of the machine you are operating , then all of a sudden you get that slow sinking feeling , I was operating a Centurion Tank at the time here in the Australian bush 64 Ton is just a little too heavy for some of the tracks we military folk have to travel on , but yep it's fun when you come to a sudden stop because the road has given way under the weight . This was a long time ago as I am no longer in the Aussie Army , I did eleven year's and they were pretty good , i am now 70 and from time to time i catch up on some of the thing's that i did when i was feeling ten foot tall and had no fear !!

When I worked at a feedlot many years ago, our silage pit was down in a gully below the main yard. Unless it was 100 degrees and sunny, we always had to pull the slop trucks up out of there with a front end loader. My boss's standing instructions were "pull them all the way to the blacktop, regardless of what they think". I had more than one driver honk, yell, and even stand on the brakes; I just kept pulling, lol.
@Nighthawke704 жыл бұрын
@@seanhazelwood3311 When they did the overpass by my place, they used clay dirt. That's all they had access to , pure crap clay. So the belly dumpers go and open up to drop their loads of clay on the job site, they had to use a dozer to shove them off the load piling underneath them. Every, stinking time. They had to use a disc tiller to break the clods down to something manageable and then run a sheepsfoot over it to compact to grade. And to this day they have slippage problems on those overpasses.

Those drive motors in the mini's once blocked (wheel spocket) up with sand, soil, clay, stone etc don't have enough power to turn the tracks, let alone move out of a bog, beware the Yanmar drives tend to fail often at 3000 hour approx , at least some year models did have a habit of them failing.
