@@anipie4854 they're different enough that it's kind of hard to compare. I will say that heartsteal felt more consistent but fortune has more potential for instant wins if you can get a decent start as was the case in this video.

​@@petrikillosyou need 1 emblem at game start to get to 5 fortune and stabilize, you can play around 30 fortune cashout during early game to get the other emblem, at 7 fortune is already broken and ensures 31 cashout all rounds (most will be 3 4cost units and an anvil, the other third will be ToT to get fortune 9)

7 fortune is actually an insta win. i get why riot eagers to have insta win traits but man, 2 emblems is too little for this shi*. there is so many ways to get a fortune spat, like portal, augment, neutrals, and especially cashout... hell, even the 95 cashout feels like an insta win and all you have to do is make sure you lose. this is IMO lame

@@hunglee7529 "balanced" meaning: "oh he was lucky so it's okay he gets uncontested first"? it doesn't even require economy (you only need lvl 7), you need less luck than getting 10 storyweaver which sure is strong too, but it's not an actual insta win. you need 3 emblems and lvl 10 and get to that lvl 10 with 3 emblems (possibly) instead of items, this is something that makes sense. fortune is RELATIVELY easy to get.

It’s easy to see a vid like this and think fortune is OP, forgetting how many times you’ll go 8th if you force fortune every game. If the stats say it’s average placement then it’s balanced. That’s all that matters. Riot needs to have high risk higher reward traits like this to keep the game interesting, doesn’t mean the trait is broken just cos the reward ceiling is infinite, as long as it’s very hard to get and very rare to see, which it is.
