Since the Cole, Kai, and Sora mechs are meant to be mixed up but the Jay and Arin ones are not, how about showing "cursed mech combos" with upper halves of the larger mechs on the lower halves of the smaller mechs and vice versa.

It's weird how Kai and Nya both got gimmic sets *right* after they just got gimmic sets with Lloyd in Dragons rising season 1. I would like to get all the main ninja, but it might be too expencive. Defenitely gonna get the Arin gimmic set though. I always get one.

I think Kai might be the main ninja for season 2. I know they said there wouldn’t be anymore main focus ninja, but Kai is literally on all the box art and has two mech sets, the one in January and the Climbing mech. So, there is a lot of things pointing to him getting the main focus.

Generally, I really like these sets But the only negative thing I get from them is that the ninja don’t include and extra shoulder pad in the mech sets The Egalt set literally had a spare hairpiece for Nya, but can’t give spare shoulder pads for the mech users This means that I’d need to separately buy them or buy sets that include it

While I'm not a fan of how almost every single Ninjago wave has boiled down to dragons, bikes, or mechs, I do like how, at least for this wave, the mechs feel very appropriate given the robotic-like design of the ninja suits

I'll probably pick up Nya's gimmick set, she's a definite favourite of mine, maybe Sora's mech too since I didn't get her big bike mech. Egalt looks very cool but don't think my budget can stretch to him.

They are. In fact, I'm pretty sure they came from the Star Wars CCBS sets.

@@vincentthehount3289 They've kept around other ones. Theyve used the shoulder pad piece on many systems sets, most recently the Cage Monsters from Dreamzzz and a lot of the botanicals. (Not to be confused with the new similar piece with a bar, which they also use for the Botanicals and Grim's shoulders)
